We came here based on the reviews we saw - we were looking for a house in the Ventnor area to accommodate myself, husband, two children, in laws and sister in law and this house fitted the bill perfectly. It was spacious, light, airy with fabulous coastal views and was a great base for exploring the local area. We were particularly impressed with the instructions we received before hand the welcome pack. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to anybody with young children Response: Thank you for your kind comments. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. It was particularly good to know that you were able to use previous reviews to help you with your choice. |

A fabulous holiday house set in the peaceful St Lawrence. Open the blinds at night and the only lights you see are on the ferries way out to sea. The house is equipped with everything you can think of - and more. The welcome pack meant we could arrive and have a cuppa without having to either take anything with us or nip out to find it. Don't weigh yourself down with lots of books, there is something for everyone in the library and the computer was a very helpful addition. We took advantage of the joint tickets available to Robin Hill and Blackgang Chine and spent many a happy hour getting soaked (Take a change of top at least to both!) Phileas Fogg in Ventnor was our restaurant of choice, best to book first, and the local taxi firm is a 1 man operation so can get very busy. There are numerous pubs with play areas within a 15 minute drive of the house, mind you, most things are within 15 minutes drive! Response: Thank you for your kind comments and helpful tips for other guests. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay on our beautiful Island. |
