Home description
Pearl Cottage has been newly renovated to a very high contemporary standard for the 2008 season with a large family kitchen diner with sea views as the hub of the home.
The house has many features that make it ideal for a family, with high chairs and cots provided, and a stairgate. There are two ovens, a large fridge freezer and a separate utlity room with large washing machine and tumble dryer.
This is primarily our own holiday home, buy we do rent it out for 10 weeks a year.

The Isle of Wight region
The Isle of Wight is a small island off of the south coast of England, that has some of the warmest and sunniest weather in the UK. It is accessible via ferries and is pretty easy to get around.
There are countless attractions, for families and for adults all over the island.
Ventnor area
Ventnor is an old Victorian Beach resort which grew because of its mild climate and the sea views that much of the town enjoys. Ventnor was recently awarded a place in Coast Magazine's top 10 beach towns in the UK.
The beach is a mixture and sand and shingle and offers rental of deckchairs and windbreaks.
Ventnor provides a host of attractions such as the Botanic Gardens, but is also in easy reach of Shanklin, Godshill and Blackgang.
How to get there
The Isle of Wight is accessible by ferry. There are three ferry routes operated by WightLink and RedFunnel.
The closest one to Ventnor is the WightLink Portsmouth to Fishbourne route. Ventnor is about half an hour from Fishbourne.
It is recommeded to have a car on the Isle of Wight, and you can take your own or a hire car on to the ferry.

As we are only renting out the cottage for 10 weeks a year, we are keeping the rates simple, the same each week. The property is only let out by the week, from Friday to Friday.
In the first season, the rental will be reduced by 40% from the future rate of £1000, because of the short notice.
