Further details indoors

We were part of a Georgian estate which was broken up in the 50's. Our property consists of the coach house, stables (Courtyard Cottage), ostler's and gardener's cottages. The Courtyard Cottage is ideal for families of 3 to 4, or couples who like a little more space. We are set in beautiful countryside with many glorious walks: St.Catherine's Lighthouse only 15 minutes away, Castle Haven Cove with swimming, surfing, fishing etc... Many rare butterflies and plants are in abundance; red squirrels, foxes, buzzards, badgers and pheasants are often seen from the garden. We have excellent facilities in our local village, and are conveniently placed to get to all the Island attractions.

Further details outdoors

There is a large garden with lawns and flower beds, with a variety of seating and tables in various locations throughout.

5/5

"Perfect location, lovely homely cottage."

We honestly had a fabulous stay in Courtyard Cottage. It's clean, comfortable and had plenty of space for us. The gardens are lovely, with nice views of the sea in the distance. Angela and David (owners) are a charming and welcoming couple, and were intent on ensuring that we had everything we needed. We barbecued in the courtyard on two evenings, and then took a casual stroll down to the local pub (5 minutes walk). Both of us are keen walkers, and the scenery is simply breath taking on the coastal walk from St. Catherine's Lighthouse to Puckaster Cove. We will be going back for sure. Thanks Angela and David for looking after us.
