The Isle of Wight region

Ventnor / St Lawrence area
St Lawrence is a small village on the outskirts of Ventor in the south of the Island. The area boasts attractions like the Botanic Gardens and Blackgang Chine, as well as miles of both beach paths and downland to explore. Nothing is far on the Island, so if you're looking to explore from a peaceful "real island" base, St Lawrence and Woodcliffe are an ideal choice.

Car Ferry from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington. Passenger Ferry from Portsmouth, train to Shanklin and then Railink bus to St Lawrence. Fly to Southampton.
