Kaia
About the home
A bright and quirky bungalow providing all mod cons in a hidden 'no-through' road away from the busy esplanade yet less than 2 minutes walk to the beach via a private 'twitten'.
Kaia (meaning home or retreat) is the perfect location. Walk to the safe and sandy beach, the numerous restaurants, pubs, amusements, shops etc. and along the scenic coastal path to discover hidden fisherman's coves or to purchase fresh fish from the local market. Head up from Kaia to access the main shopping thoroughfare with a supermarket and wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs.
When you stay at Kaia, leave the car as eveything in Ventnor is on on your doorstep!
Kaia is bright, breezy and beautiful with second-to-none seaviews. The terrace is safely gated so children are secure and there is a BBQ to enjoy whilst watching the sun go down if you choose to stay home one evening. A back yard provides the perfect sunny secure spot to enjoy breakfast on the picnic bench whilst watching the lizards bask in the micro climate that is unique to Ventnor.
Kaia is a home to be enjoyed throughout the year with so many activities that the island has to offer. With double glazing, gas central heating and a gas fire in the lounge for added comfort the property is extremely comfortable and peaceful all year round.
There are wonderful walks at hand, botanical gardens, bowls and cycling tracks. Further afield, horse-riding, golf, sailing, fishing, speedway to watch, dinosaurs to explore and a wealth of things to do for all the family.
Enjoy a well deserved glass of Champagne at Osborne House, the holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert or collect coloured sands at Blackgang Chime. Attend one of the outdoor concerts or festivals or simply sit and watch the world go by and just be!
Please note that Kaia will be having major building works later this year transforming a 3 bedroom bungalow to a luxury three bedroom penthouse with private parking, large balcony and spectacular sea views.

BookThe Isle of Wight region
Only minutes away from the mainland yet the Isle of Wight is a world apart and has a magic of its own. It is one of the UK's sunniest and warmest places measuring 23 miles by 13 and lies just off England's south coast but no passport is needed for the short sea crossing!
Boasting award winning beaches, unspoilt and spectacular scenery and a rich historical heritage.
More than half the island is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with 500 miles of award winning public footpaths and bridleways while almost 30 miles of its seashore is Heritage Coast.
The Ventnor area
All around Ventnor you will find beautiful walks and dramatic viewpoints both in the summer and the winter.
Ventnor is famous for its warm micro climate. The esplanade has a crescent shaped part sand, part shingle beach, ideal for sunbathing and swimming. Pubs, cafes and restaurants are dotted along the seafront and there is a small harbour from which you can purchase local seafood; all on your doorstep enabling you to leave your car behind.
The Island shaped paddling pool is popular with small children. Spectacular cliff walks towards Bonchurch or Steephill Cove with outstanding coastal views are all close by.
The Cascade leads up to the centre of town, which is built on a series of zigzag terraces and steeped in history offering character Victorian buildings. There are friendly souvenir shops as well as delicatessens and convenience stores and a supermarket together with parks and gardens, a heritage museum, Isle of Wight Glass as well as a museum on nautical history. Enjoy some peace and quiet in the tranquil Botanic Gardens, a 22 acre sub-tropical paradise and heading west is one of the island's hidden gems, Steephill Cove, all within walking distance.
Ventnor enjoys a sunny mild climate due its sheltered southerly aspect, nestling between the sea and St. Boniface down.
