Herveys Cottage is a Grade II listed, semi detached, thatched cottage adjoining the owner's home in the village of Niton on the southern coast of the Isle of Wight. With one double bedroom, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with an electric fire and a dining table, this cottage is perfect for a romantic break for two. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car and a large patio area with garden furniture. Herveys Cottage is a real "chocolate box" property and is a wonderful base for exploring the Isle of Wight.

Full oil central heating with additional heating from electric fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, combi colour TV/video, stereo/CD player/radio etc, library of videos and books. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car. Large patio area with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Note: Bedroom is accessed via steep, twisting stairs and some ceilings in the property are slightly lower than average.

The Ventnor / Niton, Isle of Wight area
Positioned at the southernmost tip of the Isle of Wight, Niton is a picturesque village offering a wide selection of shops. These include a mini supermarket, pharmacy, butchers, and a post office as well as two pubs - both of which serve good food and ales. Just a mile away is Blackgang Chine, which offers 40 acres of lovely cliff top gardens that features numerous attractions, live shows, and rides for all ages. There are also a number of superb walks and scenic views to be had along the nearby coastal path, which stretches for 60 miles around the Island.

Such a relaxing spot and the cottage was so cosy. The owners were very friendly. We loved the coastal walks and the seafood. Osborne is magnificent.

,Niton is a lovely village and the locals are very friendly. The highlight of the holiday other than the picturesque villages was the beautiful weather, it certainly made the holiday. We also walked with the local Rambling group who also made us feel very welcome.

,It was just what we needed, the right size for two people. In a good location with pretty surroundings, easy to get to everything we wanted to. The owners were very friendly and didn't intrude but made sure we were happy and had everything we needed.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
