The house is located in the middle of the village of Ventenac about 15 km north-west of Narbonne. Ventenac, with about 350 inhabitants, is an unspoiled sleepy village situated on the beautiful tree-lined Canal du Midi and is set within the Minervois vineyards. The village has two restaurants, with pleasant outside dining, next to the Canal du Midi, as well as a post office, and small shop. The beautiful Chateau, is the focal point of the village. The Chateau is the place to taste and buy excellent local wine, or you can visit their wine museum.
