About the home

Villa Gabriella Dimora Storica Liberty is a part of a villa built in 1922. The design was inspired by the Palladio's Rotonda. Located in the Lido Island, in front of the Adriatic Sea, it's 20 minutes away from St Mark's Square in Central Venice and 500 metres from shops and the famous Cinema Venice Festival buildings. Wonderful panoramic seafront terrace.

The villa offers a number of apartments sleeping between 2 and 5 guests. Please contact us for further information about the accommodation. All our rooms and apartments have private bathrooms, TV and WiFi internet collection. Several of the apartments also have air conditioning and private balconies. Included in the price is our Italian Breakfast: coffee (espresso, mocha and American), milk, chocolate, tea, brioches (jam, chocolate or plain), butter, marmalade, fruit juice, black and white bread, corn flakes, white and fruit yoghurt.

PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE: For our definitive confirmation we need your authorization by email or fax to charge your credit card for 33% of your staying as a deposit*!
Expiry day for your authorization: 5 days after your booking. After this day with no answer from you the booking will be cancelled and you'll have to repeat the booking operation.
* In case of cancellation and your new booking for another, later period, we will apply a good discount on the price, but this deposit won't be refunded.

As well as the world-famous city of Venice and other lovely cities of history and art such as Vicenza and Verona (home of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet!), the region boasts some of Europe's most spectacular scenery. For example, you can explore the mountain scenery of the Dolomites and the serene Lake Garda.

The Venice, Veneto / Venice Lido area

The beautifu city of Venice needs little introduction. However, the Venice Lido area has a little something else to offer. After spending the day exploring the labyrinthine "calli” (narrow back streets) of Venice and taking in the many historical and artistic sites, you will be in need of a little relaxation, and the Venice Lido is the perfect spot. Venice Lido is the quiet, peaceful and green thin island that stretches between open sea and lagoon, which is only 10 minutes away from S. Mark's Square, both by public or private transportation, or half an hour by ferryboat ride leaving from Tronchetto.

Venice Lido is the least crowded, and therefore the most enjoyable, seaside resort of the whole upper Adriatic. The beach stretches for the entire 12km length of the island, so you're sure to find a space all to yourself! A stay on the Lido will enable you to experience all the charms of Venice whilst also enjoying a peaceful vacation by the sea.

Here on Venice Lido, you will find every activity and amenity you could desire, including golf (with a discount fee for our guests), sailing, horse-riding, biking, skating, tennis, swimming pools, beaches, elegant hotels, wine bars, and beachfront restaurants.

Events in Venice include the Venice Carnival (February); the Summer Venice Lido Village (June-September), Venice Cinema Festival (1-12 September), Biennale of Arts (June-December) at Giardini della Biennale.

The best way to reach us:

If you will arrive in the Venice train station you will take the boat n. 82, 52 or 51 to the Lido island (departure: each 10 minutes, trip: 30 min.). Public taxi car at Lido island to Villa Gabriella (2-3 minutes): say to the driver "Villa Gabriella per favore": 5-6 Euro + bags.

From Venice airport: you will take the water boat "Alilaguna" by the airport (follow the panels "water bus/boat" out of the sliding doors of the airport, 10 minutes walking to the boat station from the arrivals gate). Price: 10 EUR to Lido. Time: 55 minutes. Boat each 30 minutes. Public taxi car at Lido island to Villa Gabriella (2-3 minutes): say to the driver "Villa Gabriella per favore": 5-6 Euro + bags.

From Treviso Airport: Bus in correspondance with your flight to Venice (1 hour). Boat n. 51 to Lido (35 minutes). Public taxi car at Lido island to Villa Gabriella (2-3 minutes): say to the driver "Villa Gabriella per favore": 5-6 Euro + bags.

If you will arrive by car you can take the Ferry Boat to Lido on Tronchetto station, which is at the end of the bridge of Liberty: this bridge connects Mestre to Venice: it’s written ‘Ferry Boat to Lido’. It goes every 50 minutes and is less expensive than to leave the car in the garages in Venice! You’ll be at home with your bags and your car!
