The 12km island has sandy beaches that occupy most of its coasts. Thanks to the length of its beaches, Lido is one of the least crowded beaches of the high Adriatic and the same time is both relaxing and elegant.

The apartment is ten minutes walk from the beaches and three minutes from the boat stop to St. Marco square.18 hole golf course open all year round on Lido is 5 minutes by car.

The apartment is tastefully decorated with antique furniture, marbles and stuccos. The apartment includes a master bedroom, a room with a single bed, one bathroom, living room and kitchen, and a balcony and offers air conditioning. The North East Italy / Veneto region

Most people speed through the Veneto on their way to our favourite Italian city, Venice. From the train, the landscape sometimes looks flat and unappealing, yet its small cities are fascinating treasure troves of art and beacons of fine living, and only a few miles to the north the Alps begin, their foothills dotted with charming towns and lined with picturesque world-class vineyards.

Because the average traveller aims only to see the city on the lagoon, the rest of the region is blessedly devoid of tourist crowds, and yet, consider what they are missing: Verona, home to Romeo and Juliet, one of the prettiest and most historical little cities in the whole country. Vicenza, the memorable "laboratory" for a man who may have been the most influential architect in history, Andrea Palladio. Treviso, birthplace of radicchio and our all-time favourite town in Italy.

Soave, a fairy-tale castle town whose name you may already know from your local wine shop. Abano, a classic 19th-century thermal spa town. Chioggia, a mini-Venice with all the canals and none of the crowds. Lake Garda, flanked by lemon and olive groves, with the snowy Alps reflected in its silvery waters. Teensy Marostica, where you can watch a human chess game whose living pieces are garbed in Renaissance costumes. Bassano del Grappa, the sub-alpine home of white asparagus.

Venice, Veneto / Venice Lido area

Venice is a beautiful and unique city. Visitors of the city can spend hours walking its 'calle' and 'campi' (alleys and squares) while admiring its breathtaking works of art among travellers from around the world. The relaxing green embrace of Lido di Venezia, the thin island that extends between the open sea and the Venice lagoon will offer the perfect setting to restore the mind and the body.

Lido is located within a 10 minute boat ride from Piazza San Marco and is well connected by private and public transportation. Departing from Lido there are daily boat tours organized by different providers to visit the other charming islands of the Venetian lagoon. A well maintained golf course on the island can provide additional entertainment.

Staying at Lido will allow visitors to appreciate the magic atmosphere of Venice while enjoying a very special setting; the island represents the ideal location for those anxious to combine a cultural vacation with a romantic and relaxing experience.

Fly to Venice Marco Polo or Treviso, by train to Venezia Santa Lucia, by car straight to the apartment.

For stays over one week in one or more San Giacomo Lodges location, we offer a 5% discount. It is advised to contact our staff at least 3 days before arrival to organize meeting time and location for pick-up.

On the day of your departure, the apartment or house should be vacated by 11am. The reservation will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the 30% of the total cost.

Terms and payments methods are: payment of 30% of the cost through credit card or bank tranfer. The remaining 70% is due on the day of arrival through cash. Security deposit.
