About the home

This apartment is located in a very quiet site. Two bedrooms and a large and lengthy living room with kitchenette leading to a balcony furnished with table and seats for dining al fresco.

Completely new (2007) modern style, very close to Venice with swimming pool, 300 m from the sea and beach, in front of one of the best golf course in Italy

Beautiful garden all around with a pond and wooden bridge in front of the entrance. Covered parking. The bus stop is in front of the main entrance. Restaurants and "pizzeria" around.

Veneto is not only Venice. There are many other cities as Vicenza (famous to have a lot of buildings made by A.Palladio) Verona (homeland of Romeo and Juliet), skiing destinations as Cortina d'Ampezzo

The Venice, Veneto / Venice Lido area

The island is a unique site providing all services (beach, sport, very good restaurants) excursions to Chioggia (an amazing trip by bus and boat to the main fish market of north Adriatic sea) and to several islands (Murano. Burano Torcello etc.). The south part is very quiet and include a WWF park, a golf course (built partially in an ancient fort of Venice Republic). Many typical restaurants serving mainly fish dishes are available on the island at very reasonable prices.

Lido is the site of International Festival of Cinema (september), concerts in San Niccolò cloister and inside of liberty style hotels (summer), Redentore regatta and fireworks at midnight (July), Xmas market

Lido beach has been recently considered by Askmen.com (the american on-line magazine) one of the ten most attractive beaches in the world. Very famous are "capanni" typical Lido beach cabins.

Lido was the set for the film "Morte a Venezia" by the novel of Thomas Mann.

For 2009 Lido is rated with "Blu flag" for the quality of the sea.
Golf course site was suggested by Henry Ford in '30 years (www.circologolfvenezia.it)

BY PLANE from the airport: get Alilaguna cruise to Lido (Santa Maria Elisabetta S.M.E.) in 65 minutes and then get the bus to Alberoni (south part of the Lido island) 20 minutes.

BY CAR: get ferry boat from Tronchetto and in 30 minutes you arrive to S.M.E and then 10 kilometres to Alberoni (15 minutes, be carefull of speed limit 50 km/h all around)

BY CAR: reach Fusina and park your car. In 30 minutes by boat you arrive in front of the premises directly at Alberoni
