The city of Venice has been for more than a millennium capital of the Republic of Venice and known in this regard as the Venetian Republic, the dominant and the Queen of the Adriatic.

The monuments of the city of Venice are found almost entirely in the historical center and in the islands of the lagoon, being part of the land virtually devoid of attractions.

Venice

After San Marco, Dorsoduro district of Venice, where it is the most important museums are concentrated: the main museum is the Accademia Gallery, founded by the painter Giambattista Piazzetta in 1750, and moved to these buildings by Napoleon in 1807.

Of great importance also the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of modern and contemporary art at the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni also a private residence time of the American patron, and the contemporary art museum Punta della Dogana - François Pinault Foundation, headed by the structure of Palazzo Grassi, opened in 2009. [1]

Here there are also Ca 'Rezzonico, the Museum of Eighteenth Century Venice, Ca' Dario, infamous for the tragic end of many of its owners, the Great School of the Carmine and Ca 'Foscari, the home of the university.

The most important churches are the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Church of the Giudecca Canal, the churches of San Trovaso and San Pantalon, All Saints Church and the Church of San Nicolò dei Mendicoli.

Also worth visiting are the boatyard of San Trovaso and Campo Santa Margherita, a meeting place for Venetians and students.

The owner is always available on the phone because he does not live in the same city, but if the customer reports a wrong phone number can not be re-contacted.
