The ferry stop ensures you can reach all parts of Venice such as Doge's palace (10 min ferry ride) and the Rialto bridge with ease.
The property offers tasteful, comfortable accommodation for 4 with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a secluded private garden!
Here in the village of Castello, you can dine with the locals and feast on local Venetian specialities such as cod with whipped cream and polenta. The 2nd bedroom is located next to the garden area along with the 2nd bathroom accessed via steps (approx 15 steps down) outside of the living room (private entrance to 2nd bedroom and bathroom seperate from the living area)

We have recently returned from our weeks break in Venice.

The accommodation was perfect. Deborah and Alberto could not have been more helpful and hospitable. I would highly recommend the apartment to another family. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire flat was furnished beautifully and very comfortably. My two girls (7and 10) loved their little room which opened onto the charming garden.



The area was ideal, beautiful but out of the main tourist hot spots. With some good advice from our hosts we were able to eat well on a budget and avoid the long queues for big attractions.



Thanks for your help in finding this great place. I will be recommending it to friends and family.

Lovely apartment, lovely owner"
We were met off the Water Bus by the owner and it seemed nothing was too much for her. She popped by whenever we had any questions and is a very friendly and charming person.She's lived in Venice for a good while and is married to a Venetian. She really knows her way around. The apartment was charming and tastefully decorated. You wouldn't call it large but then this is Venice. The area was really lovely, we were right on the main street of the neighborhood, with lovely bars ,shops and restaurants. It is very close to the lagoon and a short walk to the main tourist area.

Deborah and Alberto were so amazing, they really took us in and made us feel at home, even though we were half way around the world. Catching the vapertto to our accommodation took us down the Grand Canal from the train station, and what a way to arrive into Venice! We stayed right near the Giardini stop, which is around the last residential area in Venice. We felt like locals. Deborah told us about all the amazing places to eat, where to catch the Gondolas from, where to go to get the best food at the markets, the way venetians really do breakfast and Alberto even took us to his work in a venetian glass shop. The apartment was even better than we could have imagined. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it so easy to be able to cook at home. The rooms were very spacious and the beds very extremely comfortable. We hope to travel back to Venice next year and hope that the apartment will be available, as we will definitely stay there again!
