Immediately behind the B & B Exclusive , on the road which leads from San Polo to Piazzale Roma, a small field is framed by three huge buildings on the right the apse of the Frari Church, left the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and opposite the church named after the eponymous saint. The church of San Rocco was built in the late fifteenth century when the school officially assumed the title of Grand School (1489) and was thus decided to assisting them a church.

In charge of the design was still young architect Bartolomeo Bon realized that the factory following the teachings of Mauro Codussi. The result was that of a church with a nave and chancel biabsidato and two side chapels built in Corinthian style. In the first half of the eighteenth century the church underwent radical surgery for restoration. Today the church has a nave with a flat ceiling, four walls and altars to the apse chapels. The interior decoration is of great importance. You can see eight paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto paintings by Sebastiano Ricci and Francesco Solimena.

In ancient times, the church counted among his masterpieces also a cycle of frescoes by Giovanni Antonio De Sacchis said the seats in the chancel and Pordenone in the dome, which remain today, the state of frammmento. From the great plague of 1576 the Venetian government decided that the day of St. Rocco, patron of plague victims, were solemn feast.
