About the home

The strength of this beautiful apartment is its location, no more than 50 meters from Riva degli Schiavoni, very close to San Marco square, to Palazzo Ducale and the Basilica, just one vaporetto (water bus) stop from San Giorgio island, from the Salute church, from the Tadao Ando museum, and just three stops from the Gallerie dell'Accademia, from the Biennale exhibition (in the opposite direction) and generally very close to all the most interesting cultural sites.

But at the same time it is also located in one of the more traditional and characteristic sestiere (quarter) in Venice: Castello with a lot of very good restaurants and trattorias (Remigio, Corte Sconta, Al Covo are among the best in Venice and they are at just few steps from your apartment...), or really old and veracious bars, osterias and "bacari" if you are a food and wine lovers, we will be happy to advise you about the best places.

It is also very close to all the shops you could need: supermarkets, butcher's, greengrocers, bakeries, one fish shop, wine shops, pharmacy are really just behind the corner.

You can easilly reach the apartment from Santa Lucia train station or from the buses and cars terminal Piazzale Roma with the vaporetto line (1) to San Zaccaria stop or with the line (2) to San Marco Vallaresso stop.

“Excellent quiet location” Stayed at this clean, well equipped apartment for a short break. Very quiet location for a peaceful night's sleep. Just a couple of minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. Note that there are a few flights of stairs to reach the apartment. Decent value for Venice.
