This beautiful, bright and cosy apartment has been house of Francesco Guardi, world famous venetian painter:

The apartment is now owned by an art gallery manager, it is furnished and decorated in a simple but also original way.
Even if in some way it shows a kind of understatement, nothing is casual or banal here and some touches of style let you understand that you are not in the usual, common holiday apartment full of cheap Ikea's stuffs.
And some work of art are exhibited with non-chalance.
The Living room with dining area is really large and cosy and it can accomodate 6 people in full comfort.
Colours here are an important ingredient to make the room relaxing and agreable.
The three double bedrooms are all large, luminous and cosy as well, with a family likeness.
The kitchen is very well equipped with stove, oven, grill, dish washer, fridge.
The laundry room with washing machine is ground floor.
Bathrooms add a touch of colour and style, pictures are clear about their look.

My husband and I stayed in the apartment with our two young adult sons for four nights. It was huge, clean, and comfortable, and in a very convenient, but not so touristy, location. Bakery, fruit/vegetable stand, and small supermarket within a two or three minute walk, and a five minute walk from a vaporetto stop with no stairs. Stefania met us at the vaporetto, walked us to the apartment, and gave us information and advice about the apartment, shopping, and restaurants. Everything went very smoothly, and we would definitely rent this apartment again. |
