About the home

It is a comfortable 80 sqm apartment with wide spaces and high ceilings, restructured and furnished in order to live comfortably. The apartment has wooden beams throughout. There are two bedrooms located on two different floors. The upper one is located in the loft and has an extraordinary view of Venice’s roof tops and San Bortolo's Bell tower. The kitchen and dining room are independent to the sleeping area. It is a luxurious premier property in the prime of Venice ideal for those who are looking to have a real Venetian experience. It is suitable for families and able to host up to 5 people. The loft room has 3 beds (or a twin and a single). The recent restoration allowed us to utilise the loft which was used during World War II to hide a Jewish citizen

The flat is fully furnished. It has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed. Then, depending on your needs the second has two singles which may be used either as a double bed or consequently as two singles. There is one bathroom with a shower. There is a WIFI internet connection availble upon request.

There are two principal entrances to the apartment. The first is via the street. There is a gate located in a quite courtyard just behind campo San Bortolomio, a prime meeting point for many Venetians. The second entrance is a water door, located just in front of Marco Polo's house.

The North East Italy / Veneto region

It is thought that the best periods to visit Venice are spring and autumn. Actually Venice is always beautiful for different reasons. During the winter and the summer the number of tourists is lower. Living inside the city centre gives the extraordinary advantage of been able to go to visit it early in the morning and late in the afternoon. The flat is equipped with air conditioning.

The flat is located just in the city centre of Venice. You can reach every corner of the city in about 45 minutes walk. 7-10 minutes walk to reach St. Mark's square, 3-5 minutes walk to reach Rialto's bridge and its spectacular market. we will provide you with advices and indication about the place where we go to make the dayly shops
Rialto's bridge is just around the corner. Saint' Mark square is at few minutes by foot.
In the flat you'll find a list of advised restaurant and places to see.

You can reach Venice by plane Landing at Treviso airport (Ryanair) or Venice Marco Polo (all airlines plus some budget).
The apartment is located 3 minutes from Rialto's boat stop. It is also reachable directly by water-taxi service landding at the water door.

“Very nice apartment in a great part of Venice, near the Rialto” A pleaant, well-equipped apartment, with good light, no great views, in a quiet location near the Rialto. Very nice landlords, who live next door, in case you need help.

I'd have no hesitation in Recommending your Apartment....The Walker family.

The location is very central & therefore handy for returning to midday after a morning's sightseeing for lunch (and cool down with air-con which was wonderful in the hot August Weather).

The location is also very convenient. You are close to atractions but not in the middle of the tourist center. It is a pleasure to walk along the streets nearby. We really enjoyed Venice and the city impressed us very much.

This apartment was perfect for what we wanted. A quiet, central, charming, well equipped crash pad for 2 adults and 2 teens for our sightseeing in Venice. The arrangments were 1st class, from swift responses from the owners and the large amount of information and guidebooks available at the apartment and the very friendly & efficient meet & greet service at Rialto taking us to the apartment.
The photos of the apartment show it exactly as it is, quiet location, very clean, comfortable beds.
