About the home

It is a luxury 130 sqm apartment with wide spaces and high ceilings, restructured and furnished in order to live comfortably. Due to work purposes I have moved cities, giving the opportunity for others to enjoy this spacious apartment. There is a wide "altana" roof-terrace, 20 sqm, equipped for outside dining. The apartment has original ancient wooden beams throughout. There are two bedrooms each with there own bathroom. The main bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi. Stereo diffusion is throughout the flat and the office is set up with printer and WIFI internet connection. It is a luxurious premiere property in the prime of Venice ideal for those who are looking to have a really special Venetian experience.

The flat is fully furnished. It has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed. Then, depending on your needs the second has two singles which may be used either as a double bed or consequently as two singles. Adjacent to the main bedroom is the first bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower. The second, upstairs on the second floor is equipped with a shower. Stereo diffusion throughout the flat and hipod connection cable with it.

The roof terrace faces the courtyard used to enter the apartment. It is a lively courtyard with the possibility to enjoy an aperitif before dinner. The terrace has a table for about 6 people where you can dine at your leisure. You can reach the terrace via the second floor. The terrace is one of life's little treasures, which enables you to experience Venice from another level, whether you choose to enjoy the tranquility of Venice during breakfast under the warm morning sun or dinner after a day out. There are two principal entrances to the apartment. The first is via the street. There is a gate located in a quite courtyard just behind campo San Bortolomio, a prime meeting point for many Venetians. The second entrance is a water door, located just in front of Marco Polo's house.

Conditions

Before the restoration took place it was decided to create open living spaces on both floors together with the open staircase in order to adopt a sense of freedom that after a day out exploring the streets of Venice is something many appreciate. However, the open stair case is not suitable for children under 10 years.

The North East Italy / Veneto region

It is thought that the best periods to visit Venice are spring and autumn. Actually Venice is always beautiful for different reasons. During the winter and the summer the number of tourists is lower. Living inside the city centre gives the extraordinary advantage of been able to go to visit it early in the morning and late in the afternoon. The flat is equipped with hair conditioning which gives the opportunity of a good relaxing nap in hottest hours of the day. It has a also a roof terrace which gives the opportunity to enjoy the sun having breakfast out or the chill having dinner on the roof.

The Venice, Veneto / Central Venice area

The flat is located just in the city centre of Venice. You can reach every corner of the city in about 45 minutes walk. 7-10 minutes walk to reach St. Mark's square, 3-5 minutes walk to reach Rialto's bridge and its spectacular market.

Rialto's bridge is just around the corner. Saint' Mark square is at few minutes by foot.

You can reach Venice by plane Landing at Treviso airport (Ryanair) or Venice Marco Polo (all airlines plus some budget), by train arriving at Santa Lucia Train station or by Car arriving at Piazzale Roma.
The apartment is located 3 minutes from Rialto's boat stop. It is also reachable directly by water-taxi service using the water door.

“A great apartment right in the middle of Venice” The owner made everything easy for us, a friend of his meet us where we disembarked at the Rialto bridge to show us the way and give us keys. The apartment was spacious very well maintained and it's air conditioning made it a joy to come back to after our enjoyable but hot sightseeing. My only hesitation in recomending to others would be if they had mobility problems or difficulties with stairs. If we visit Venice again I'd have no hesitation in trying to book the same apartment.

“A truly wonderful apartment in a superb location. Roof terrace a real bonus!” This is a very special and spacious apartment which is in a class of its own. You will certainly not be disappointed. We simply love it! We booked for five weeks last year (we stayed for six because of the volcano in Iceland!) and had a great time. We came back for three weeks this year and have already booked for next year. The Rialto fish, fruit and vegetable market and its specialist food shops are a couple of minutes walk away, there is a really good wine shop round the corner- local wines and Prosecco-and St Mark's is 5-6 mins walk. The owner of the apartment, Filippo is a great guy and his folder of tips on where to eat is excellent. His brother, Simone lives next door and is also very friendly and helpful The quality of the accommodation and its location make this the perfect place from which to really enjoy all that Venice has to offer.

This is a beautiful apartment with lovely views. It has everything you need. It is very well looked after and is very comfortable. We really enjoyed the roof terrace and the peaceful setting. The apartment is in a wonderful and interesting area of Venice where you can get away from the crowds. It is also close to all amenities, especially good to be close to Rialto’s Market and the water bus stop. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quiet and beautiful setting for their holiday. You can explore all of Venice from this apartment, but then you can return to a comfortable and wonderful place to sit and relax. We also had friendly and efficient customer service from the owner and so felt very secure with our booking. A wonderful apartment, a beautiful city and a friendly service - what more do you want from your holiday? We will definitely be returning.
