The Tuscany region
Collodi: the town of Pinocchio. Altopascio transit and staging post along the ancient Via Francigena pilgrimage route with its Hospital, Bell and Cauldron. Vinci, the native home of Leonardo da Vinci. Montecatini with its spa. Garfagnana with the Wind cave. Pescia with the castles of the so called Svizzera Pesciatina . The beaches of Versilia, tennis courts, golf courses. The works of art in Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence are less than 50 kilometers far. The only part of Tuscany that allows you to go from the sea to the hills or to the peaks of 2000 metre high mountains within a few kilometers.
This beautiful old villa with breathtaking views of the Apuan Alps, Lucca and Montecatin is located on the crest of the long hill that gently slopes from the plateau of the Pizzorne to Montecarlo and that as far as Altopascio is the natural division between the plain of Lucca and Valdinievole. Surrounded by green forests and olive groves, it is a wonderful starting point for excursions on foot, by bike, by car and by train to the most celebrated places of northern Tuscany. The villa has been restored respecting the original architectural features .It offers a remarkable level of peace and tranquility. Nearby there are riding stables.

I have to answer about the microwave and kettle! You were the first in equipping the kitchen and there they are forgotten in stock! Sorry, ask!
For mosquito nets: I can not put them in the room reserved for children: they are dangerous, children may remain kinked.
