Home description

Our property is a delightful little nook of tranquillity but because of its proximity to the A1 motorway it offers easy access to Rome and other locations. We are convinced however that once you arrive you won't want to leave, the beautiful local area is where you will find the authentic taste and feel of Italy long forgotten in many typical tourist destinations, the apartment itself offers breathtaking views of the appenine mountains.

Nearby is the lake of Giulianello which offers the possibility of fishing. the area is ideal for walking and picnics.
Close by are the historic villages of Cori, Artena, Sermonetta and Roccamassima. The luscious gardens of Ninfa and the enticing village of Nemi with its lake and all year round strawberries are only a short drive away
we offer a safe babysitting service. Price to be decided according to number and age of children.

The Lazio region

Our property is set in the heart of the countryside but offers easy access to many locations becauseof its easy access to the A1 motorway. All the splendours and history of Rome and its surroundings can be yours one day and the next a quite relaxing day by the pool taking in the breathtaking scenery or enjoying a delicious meal in one of our many local restaurants or you can take the time to visit the local coast Sabaudia; Foce Verde; Sperlonga.

Velletri / Giulianello area

The local area is full of history as it dates back even before Rome itself and there are many charming traditional villages full of the flavour of the real Italy

The summer months bring a myriad of local saints days celebrations and outdoor fairs with outdoor dancing, dining, and dancing. Roccamassima is particularly active in the Month of August.

How to get there

We are close to Ciampino airport (40mins by car) cheap flights are always available on Easy Jet and Ryan air.

Trains can take you from Ciampino to Velletri where there is a bus service to Giulianello

If coming by car we are extremely close to the A1 motorway. Take the exit from Valmontone and follow directions to Giulianello. (12 mins)

For those travelling without a car we can arrange for a car to pick you up from the airport (approx cost 80euro) or to take you from the house to nearest station.

Further details indoors:
To get to the flat you must climb a small flight of stairs so it may not be suitable for the very elderly or infirm.

One King size bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with log fire, sitting / dining room with double sofa bed and single futon.

We also have a further room (Sala Fiori Rosa) which is very large and comfortable and has its own shower room. It can sleep as many as 5 (one double bed, bunk beds and single sofa bed). This room is directly below the main apartment but is not connected internally. The shower room is just outside the bedroom. It is available separately on a bed and breakfast basis or it can be rented together with the main apartment. For rates please contact owner

Further details outdoors:
The pool is shared with the owners and is circular 1.60 meters deep and 11 meters across at its widest point. It does not have a shallow end for small children.

Pool towels and bathrobes for use by the pool are provided. Private sunbathing terrace which overlooks pool area.

Large terraces, beautiful views, outdoor dining area offers possibility of eating al fresco.

Further details

The owners live on site in an attached property and reserve the right to know about all guests visiting the property in advance and to grant permission accordingly.

Swimming pool available from June to September (October weather permitting).

Conditions

No animals allowed, a refundable deposit must be paid on arrival to cover breakages or loss of items.

Pool does not have shallow end for very small children.
