La Roubine, built in 2007, is perfect for you who wish to discover the sunny Provence on your rhythm and likes. La Roubine, is in the historical village of Velleron, in the Avignon region, between Carpentras and Cavaillon. Velleron is lively village with some 3000 inhabitants famous for the daily farmers market offering a large choice of vegetables, fruit, olive oil, wines, flowers and in summer time the nearly daily concerts or other amusements offered free at the Place de l'Eglise by sun set.
La Roubine is situated in the centre of most interesting Provence tourist routes. The mountains of le Mont Ventoux, le Luberon or the towns of Isle sur la Sorgue, Avignon or Apt, are all in the reach of less than a half an hour drive.
Various activities are available in the surroundings: golf, tennis, cycling, horse riding and bathing. Moreover the nearby towns offer attractive choices for wondering in the provencial ambiance.
La Roubine is a well-equipped and tastefully decorated cottage. The main bedroom is for two and a baby bed is available for the living room. A separate cottage in the garden can be rented as a spare bedroom.
The big green garden offers shady places for afternoon naps or relaxing pauses.
The open kitchen is equipped for food lovers with sophisticated cookware, utensils and even cook books. The bedroom faces south to the spacious garden allowing privacy and peace. The available multimedia and internet equipment, films, music and games provide amusement often needed especially after visiting the various tourist sites in the surrounding area.
The multicultural and linguistic hosts are available to help you and are fluent in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, Spanish or French.
We do our best to facilitate your vacation:
- at arrival the beds are made
- you find refreshments in the fridge
- you find fresh vegetables and fruit at the Velleron farmers' market until 8pm every evening (except Sundays)
- the closest food store is open till 7pm in Velleron and the supermarket till 8pm
- you can complete your shopping on Sunday morning in Velleron or at the Sunday market in Isle sur la Sorgue

We assure you have all normal equipment for everyday living for your stay. Everything is naturally fresh and clean at your arrival. The beds are made, the bathroom and kitchen towels waiting. Extra linen is available in the entry.
In the entry there are cupboards for arranging your clothes. Moreover you find there the required equipment and substances for ironing and cleaning. From the entry you step in the bathroom with a good size shower, basin, big mirror, towel dryer and toilet. There is a stone floor, bright white walls, multilayer windows and doors.
In the entry there is available a central alarm system, which is connected to private security service.
The living area consists of a living and dining room with an open kitchen. There is a comfortable leather sofa and a dining table with four chairs.
The bed-room is a few steps lower. There you have a nice large (160cm) bed, night tables, shelves for storing your things and a vanity.

5. Cycling – we have several maps proposing you means of discovering Provence byke.
6. Footing or hiking on Plâteau de Vaucluse (starting point at 500m), or following the Canal de Carpentras either towards Isle sur la Sorgue, Saumane and Fontaine de Vaucluse or towards Pernes les Fontaines and Carpentras or on the small local roads
7. Golf in St Antoine (5 km) or in Avignon (17 km)

Peacefull countryside area close to the village centre.
Cottage aside the main house, with two entrances - road and garden. Windows in all directions.
The cottage consists of a living room with and open kitchen, open doorway to the bedroom, a bathroom with shower. Well equiped for two personnes (air conditioning, washing machine, stove, combination oven, hood, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and tea water cooker).
Tap water perfect for drinking. Good air quality.
No special reasons to feel unsafe in the region.
French mainly spoken in shops and restaurants but one can easily manage without local language skills. If necessary the landlord is available for helping you to prepare your visits.
Conditions
Preliminary reservation on email/telephone agreement. The rental agreement will take effect upon receipt of a copy of the signed contract and a deposit of 30% of the rent. The balance (70%) will be paid on arrival.
Cancellation by the tenant:
All cancellations must be notified by mail to the owner before entering the premises.
The deposit is forfeited to the owner. This may require the balance of the stay if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before date of arrival in the contract.
If the stay is shortened, the price of the rental remains in favor of the owner, with no refund.
Cancellation by the owner:
The landlord pays the tenant the amount collected.

Carpentras (15 km) It has been a city of commerce with the Greeks and the Phocaeans coming to the market here for honey, wheat, and sheep. Today it is especially famous for the truffles and the Friday market.

Cavaillon (15 km) has a rich cultural heritage. The Velleron / Les Romarins area
La Roubine is in the heart of Provence, in the charming village of Velleron. The surrounding area is richly endowed in beautiful villages and historic regional towns such as Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Pernes les Fontaines and Avignon.
One can reach easily, by bike or car, the charming villages of Venasque or Gordes, the famous villages of the Luberon mountains, such as Menerbes or Lacoste, as well as the splendid view on the okra slopes in Roussillon. Velleron is in the crosspoint of several famous wine areas : Côte du Rhône (Château Neuf du Pape, Vaqueras, Gigondas), Luberon or Mont Ventoux.
There's also a wide variety of local attractions including several golf courses, tennis, horse riding and daily outdoor Provençal street markets world-renowned for their atmosphere, their colours, their food, and their bargains.
