Gîte de Génibret (92 m2) is a separate apartment that consists of the entire ground floor of a country home. It was constructed so that it could be used as one large house or as two separate apartments. The Gîte accommodation is on the ground floor and the owners live on the 1st floor. The owners keep a low profile but they are available to assist you if required. There is a secluded swimming pool (8m x 4m) that is cleaned daily a floodlit tennis court and sun terrace all for your exclusive use. The Gîte has independent access from the sun terrace, adjacent to a private parking area. The grounds extend to 5 acres and have plenty of grass and private woodland which are safe for older children to play in.
The Gîte has flexible sleeping accommodation with two double bedrooms where one bedroom can be either made up with a comfortable king size bed plus a single bed or with three single beds so the Gîte can accommodate two couples or a family of five+. There is a futon in the lounge that can sleep two additional guests if required (small surcharge). The lounge (36 m2) can also be used as a self contained studio apartment as it has its own shower/WC and kitchenette but in order to keep the facilities exclusive to you we do not let it separately.There are ample sunbeds with padded mattresses for the sun terrace and pool area. As you can see the pool area has wood decking which is nice on the feet when temperatures are very high.
We apologise for not having a current photo of the lounge but it is being redecorated and will be equipped in May 2012 with new lounge furniture ready for the season.

Surrounding Génibret are the ancient towns of Castelnau-Montratier, Molieres, Vazrac and Sauveterre and for the historians the medieval towns of Montcuq and Lauzerte.
Génibret’s location is centrally situated enabling good access to Cahors and Rocamadour to the north, the medieval town of St Antonin in the beautiful Aveyron valley to the east, the equally historic towns of Lauzerte and Montcuq to the west and Montauban to the South. The picturesque ancient cliff top village of St Circ-Lapopie is also a popular attraction for visitors.

The Vazerac / Canhac area
Surrounding Génibret are the ancient towns of Castelnau-Montratier, Molieres, Vazrac and Sauveterre and for the historians the medieval towns of Montcuq and Lauzerte. During the summer you will be spoilt for choice with local fete's promoted by all the villages and towns in the area. Castlenau Montratier is especially active with music and al fresco dining in the main square.The Caselnau Montratier wine festival takes place the weekend 4th & 5th August 2012 and the Cahors Blues Festival is due to take place from the 14th to the 21st July 2012.

A number of airports serve this area including Toulouse 88 km (70min), Brive 128 km (90 min), Rodez 130 km (90 min), Bergerac 110 km and Limoges 230 km are about 2 hours away by motorway. The main airlines serving these airports include Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways, Easyjet, Ryanair, FlyBE and BMiBaby. There is a new service by CityJet who fly from London City to Brive (128 km). Car hire is available at all of these airports.
By Rail - Nearest stations are Cahors (ordinary train) and Montauban (TGV), both 30 mins. There are train services direct from Toulouse and Limoges to Cahors where car hire is also available.
By road from the Channel ports head for Limoges and continue to drive south along the motorway A20 (E-9) heading towards Montauban/Toulouse.
By air/road from Toulouse head North (Bordeaux) to pick up the A20 (Sign posted 'Paris') Leave A20 at junction 58 (Lalbenque).
At the roundabout after the Peage take the third exit, which is the N20 sign posted Montauban, and head south. Take the second right (about 1 km) sign posted D19 to Castelnau Montratier. Continue through Castelnau Montratier still keeping to the D19, but be careful, before reaching the town center don’t miss the right turn (invisible roundabout) signposted Lauzerte which you should take.
After about 8 km you will see a big water tower on the right and just afterwards a prominent blue and yellow sign also on the right saying “Department - Tarn et Garonne”, immediately after the sign you will come to a five way cross roads. Take the sharp left turn and follow the road for about 1 km until you come to another cross roads, turn left towards Molieres and after about 150 metres the road to Génibret will be found on your right.

The Gite is priced for up to 5 persons but can sleep 7. Weekly surcharge for each additional guest is GBP 30.00
Booking deposit is GBP 150.00
Full balance required 8 weeks prior to arrival.
On receipt of the full balance the Booking Deposit converts into a Security Deposit that is refunded within 14 days of departure by bank transfer subject to satisfactory inspection by the owners.

4-8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of total rental rate
