This fabulous stone farmhouse set in spacious grounds has a private swimming pool & BBQ. It is situated among olive groves and orchards with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house has a huge terrace with sun all day as well as plenty of shady spots around the gardens.
Casa Anna is walking distance to the picturesque Casalanaguida. Its bars are a short walk from the house. Casalanaguida has a variety of shops and a pharmacy, supermarket and post office. A short drive takes you to historic town of Vasto with its spectacular views and wonderful beaches. Restaurants abound in the surrounding areas offering a wide choice of exquisite Italian food. There is nothing like the taste of fresh fish in sight of the machine that caught it. Pizza made on a base tossed before your eyes makes a memorable night out for young and old.
Casa Anna is a truly fabulous venue for the most memorable holiday. The property easily sleeps 6 to 8 and by arrangement more and would be ideal for two families holidaying together with 2 double bedrooms and two single beds with pull-out singles. The Marche / Abruzzo / Abruzzo region
The sandy beaches of the Adriatic are just 20-30 minutes from Casa Anna. Abruzzo has a very long coast line of pine-fringed, clean, sandy beaches that stretch for many miles. The shallow, warm waters of the Adriatic are ideal for safe family bathing.
Skiing/mountain sports:
There is a variety of winter sports available between November and April. Abrusso has a number of ski resorts the closest is 60mins from Casa Anna.
Walking/rambling: National parks cover one-third of the territory of Abruzzo, so there is an abundance of walks and trails of various lengths and levels of difficulty. You can enjoy majestic mountain scenery with a wide variety of flora and fauna, and, if you are lucky, you may spot a wild bear, wolf or chamois.
Alternatively a walk around the locality of the village provides a number of beautiful views and the small cobbled streets of Casalanaguida are typical of a village of its history.
The town of Vasto has an old town with spectacular pedestrian areas with views across the bay. The sunset from Vasto brings out the romantic in you don't miss it.
Food and drink: Italy is renowned for its food and wine, and Abruzzo has many regional specialities, including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - an award-winning red wine, pecorino - cheese from ewe's milk, delicious honey, saffron and truffles, as well as 'arrosticini' - barbecued skewered mutton, and, of course, its very own pasta!
Vasto / Casalanguida area
Casalanguida is situated close to Gissi, in the countryside of the province of Chieti between the valleys of the rivers Sinello and Osento. The commune was founded in the Middle Ages.
The area is of great natural beauty being close to the mountains and the Adriatic Sea. The house is located close enough to both to provide a base for both summer and winter pursuits.
Nearby Vasto has numerous beaches of outstanding beauty and restaurants and night-life to satisfy all needs. Bars quite often have local musicians and the music and dancing spills out into the streets a fantastic atmosphere.
How to get there
Fly to Pescara 35 min from airport, Ancona 1.5 hrs or to Rome 2 hrs. Local buses run every hour.
All major car hire companies at airports. Local cheap taxis available.

Further details indoors: The house is set on two levels with 2 Double bedrooms and a room with two single beds. There are also 2 pull out beds available.
There is a bathroom on each floor with a shower in one and a bath and shower in the main family bathroom.
The kitchen is well appointed and modern. It is the hub for this family home with plenty of space for everyone to socialise.
Outside the main southern terrace has a table and seating for all to while away the balmy italian evenings. With a daybed and loungers for the daytime.
There are numerous other seating areas scattered throughout the house and grounds to ensure that a relaxing spot can be found by all.
This house is a fun house enjoyed by all who visit.
Further details outdoors: Outside the terraces provide plenty of space for outdoor living with numerous seating areas around the spacious grounds. Daybeds and loungers are provided for your use.
We serve our meals outside on the front terrace in the evening before moving into either the kitchen or the upstairs terrace.
During the day the upstairs terrace with its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside is a sun trap proving a warm place to sit and enjoy the Italian sun.
The pool is surrounded by flat areas to sit and sunbath as well as lounge around between dips or while watching the kids swim. Believe me watching the kids by the pool is no chore in Casa Anna.
The mature Oak trees provide ample shaded areas for an afternoon snooze. If you are first then maybe today you will get one of the hammocks. Although a lounger is just as good!!
The surrounding land has orchards and olive groves.
