The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use. The apartment has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

The Marche / Abruzzo / Abruzzo region

If you love Italy, you will fall in love with Abruzzo, a region situated in the central-eastern part of the italian peninsula, between Lazio, Molise, Marche and the Adriatic sea.
Abruzzo is divided into 3 main geographical areas: Marsica to the west, Appennino in the centre, Sub Appennino to the east. Abruzzo has a surface of 6710 square miles, slightly bigger than Yorkshire (6000 square miles).

While 5 million people live in Yorkshire, there are only 1,250,000 people living in Abruzzo. This alone explains why all natural resources in Abruzzo are practically untouched and many Italian properties are here for you to buy. The Italy's Apennines mountains run through 2/3 of the region. The Gran Sasso and the Maiella mountains, names sounding like some dramatic Opera characters, are the two highest peaks in Abruzzi, offering a great sight from almost anywhere you are in Abruzzo and featuring good quality ski-resorts for winter fun. A few rivers here and there, the main ones are Aterno, Sangro and Tronto, and a few lakes make Abruzzi a really picturesque region in Italy, a place Beatrix Potter would have really loved if only Peter and Jemima were not a target of the region's highly skilled housewives and real experienced chefs de cuisine.

Yes, my friends, food and wine in Abruzzo is serious business! After a holiday Abruzzi or in Italy over here you should not worry about the extra kilos of shopping in the boot of your car as much as you should about the extra pounds of weight gained courtesy of Arrosticini di Pecora and Montepulciano wine, to name a couple of culprits! The good news is that, to burn extra calories, there are so many places to go and things to do in Abruzzi, that you can enjoy your visits to the tavernas and agritourisms without having to worry too much!

Vasto / Contrada Vignola area

The location of Villa Osca, where the apartment is situated, is nice and quiet, but not too far from the main road and the amenities of Vasto, the nearest town. A few private houses and a famous local restaurant are nearby, within a couple of minutes walk. A short walk takes you to the beach, 300 meters away, which is not sandy, but if you need one, Vasto Marina offers one of the five best beaches of Abruzzo.

The owners are a young couple with a strong passion for gardening and hospitality. If you have any special requests, they shall be happy to satisfy it.

Each room is individually air-conditioned.There is room for 6 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board.

Further details outdoors:
The beach is only 300 meters walk from the apartment. A mopette is available to guests for easy transportation to the beach. The garden is large and equipped with table, chairs, deckchairs and shades. Eating outside in the summer season is great.
