About the home

The Chernomore Villa is located in the village of Avren. It is a popular village which has a quiet atmosphere and an excellent mix of local Bulgarian people and foreign nationals. The Villa is in close proximity to Varna and the Black Sea Coast.

Recently built, the property offers comfortable accommodation with modern and contemporary furnishing.

The villa benefits from its own private pool. It also has spacious balconies overlooking the swimming pool and stunning panoramic views from the lounge, bedrooms and dining area. It is fully furnished in a minimalist style and have patio furniture and sun beds.

The Villa sleeps up to seven people. The ground floor has an entrance, utility room with automatic washing machine, shower room, lounge with sofa bed and dining area with log fire. There is also a fitted kitchen with a cooker and fridge freezer.

The first floor has two double bedrooms with balcony, each having twin beds, opposite a family bathroom. The third bedroom, also with a balcony, has a double bed and en-suite bathroom.

There is a security alarm system, wireless internet connection, Satellite TV, DVD player, air conditioning and patio furniture.

Every room of the villa has a balcony with panoramic views of the Balkan Mountains.

Visitors are advised that there is no life guard on the site and therefore, it is their responsibility to supervise children.

The Black Sea Coast region

Bulgaria borders five countries; Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Greece and Turkey. This makes Bulgaria an excellent location for touring Eastern Europe. Bulgaria's currency is currently the Lev so the cost of living is much lower than many other European countries, offering a holiday that is good value for money.

The Black Sea coast has been an established tourist destination for over 20 years. The resorts of Golden Sands in the north (popular with investors) and Sunny Beach in the south (which is more commercialised) are both popular tourist hot spots.

The Varna / Avren area

The picturesque beach at Varna provides activities for both recreation and relaxation such as beach volleyball, swimming, sunbathing and massage. The beach attractions also include 'Mr Baba's', an excellent seafood restaurant. It offers the freshest fish in the unique atmosphere of an ancient galleon. Varna's city centre also offers a number of bars and restaurants which serve an excellent variety of international cuisine.

Excellent local fruit, vegetable and fish markets offering fresh produce are located in Varna's city centre. Avren is a short 15 minute drive from a secluded beach and the Kamchiya River Basin with Varna's beaches located within a 30 minute drive.

Regular flights from the UK and all major European airports - Fly into Varna airport Bulgaria and the village of Avren is approx 30km from the airport (30 mins drive).

There are regular, affordable flights from Luton to Varna with Whizz Air. There are also flights from other UK destinations into Sofia with Easy Jet. There are daily flights leaving Sofia into Varna with either Whizz Air or Bulgarian Air.

Varna's international airport and train station are within approximately 30 minutes' travelling distance from Avren. The airport offers regular flights to Bulgaria's capital, Sofia.

There are regular, affordable flights from Luton with Whizz Air and other UK destinations with Easy Jet. Easy Jet flies via Sofia. There are daily flights from Sofia into Varna.

A local, reliable, friendly and cost effective taxi service is available which can be hired for local journeys and travelling further afield to places such as Bucharest, Istanbul and Sofia

“Lovely Holiday, Excellent Views” I stayed in one of the Chernomore Villas last year with a group of 5 friends. The villa was very clean with a well maintained pool which was looked after by a local company. The management was very helpful when we asked questions about nearby tourist attractions. There were good amenities in Avren with some lovely native Bulgarian people. We continue to talk about Avren since our arrival back in the UK.
