The Black Sea Coast region
Kamchia is a brand new resort with a beautiful bay and fantastic flat beaches. It has a number of of river and beachside bars and restaurants, plus one of the most spectacular beaches on the Black Sea coast. The Kamchia River is one of the most beautiful sights along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Kamchia is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a fantastic wide beach that slopes gently into the sea. Surrounded by a picturesque forest with the Kamchia River, flowing down to join the sea at the beach. As a UNESCO protected area, it has a nature reserve and beautiful pine forests.
Varna / Kamchia area
The Oasis Beach Apartments are situated around 2km from the main beach of Kamchia and right in the heart of the new holiday village. They are ideally located with Varna airport less than 15 km away, and Bourgas airport 80 km away.
Local facilities and amenities in Kamchia include a fantastic wide beach, beachside bars and restaurants, boat trips, bicycle hire with numerous cycle paths and 2 tourist information centres, or you may prefer to spend your days relaxing by one of the 3 swimming pools, bar and restaurant on site in the complex.
It is ideally located, with the nearby cosmopolitan city of Varna ( Bulgaria's second largest city after Sofia and known as the jewel of the Black Sea Coast ) which offers a superb range of historical sights, and shopping to suit all tastes.
Apart from the large restaurants, namely, Kamchia Restaurant, Lillie of Kamchia Restaurant, Kamchiiska Shresta Restaurant and the Hambarite Restaurant ( The Barns ), which offer various dishes and entertainment; there are several bistros and pubs offering specialities from the sea and river.
Close by is the typically Bulgarian village of Bliznatsi ( the twins ), where you can sample tradititonal Bulgarian fayre in local restaurants.
Kamchia offers an excellent climate from April to October.
