House | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
This is a modern yet classic character home thats very welcoming and instantly makes you feel at home. its one level - stairs into the house so not wheelchair accessible : ( .
This is a fully loaded flat - kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, dining area and living room. The washer and dryer are accessible at certain times and are shared with me (the host).
The house comfortably fits 1-6 people (3 beds - 2 queen beds and double hide-a-bed) Guests have access to the house and everything in it! The downstairs is "off limits" however, this is where the washer and dryer is and i can arrange a time for you to use it/ just give me a smidge of notice so I can make sure everything is available to you!
Culture, gardens, homey, cafes, 100+ gelato store, and shops just up the street. everything close by. Everything is here and within walking distance! craft brewery to hang with friends, cafes/bakery for the morning with amazing blueberry cinnamon rolls, shops and the awesome Commercial Drive neighbour hood full of interesting finds and people!
Commercial Drive is an extremely community-oriented neighbourhood in the city. It used be known as Vancouver's "little-italy" but has evolved and matured over time. The atmosphere's alive like a summer street in Montréal with busy patios, socializing locals, and buskers on street corners. Despite the many things going on and the vibrancy, it is also a very relaxing and chill place.
With every type of restaurant catering to every type of diet, cool boutiques, fresh gelato, neighbourhood delis, lots and lots of cafes (old school italian & more modern), poetry, lots of activism, bikram yoga, and alternative lifestyles.
There are always festivals going on to engage the community as well as impromptu music fests on sunny days at Grandview Park !

About this location
The British Columbia region
Its Vancouver - pretty much enough said.
BUT, in case that isn't - well you have everything, sea to sky highway right? drive to Whistler in 1.5 hours, but then come back to Vancouver (because it is better then Whistler) and enjoy all the comforts of a city, but with none of the annoying city-ness because you're in East Van, and its just better.
There, that's definitely enough said.
cafes (legit Italian ones too - that a super old), rec center, skating rink, tennis courts everywhere, parks left right and center, bakeries, shops, festivals all the time, restaurants - just ask yourself "what do I want?" and its there.
