Home description
Make yourselves at home with your friends and family with your private suite all to yourselves, in our gorgeous home in Vancouver, B.C. The architect owner has lovingly restored the character of this 1907 gem. The suites are bright, spacious and have a grand but friendly heritage style. The lovely features such as high ceilings, hardwood floors, chandeliers, decorative old radiators, and a claw-foot tub give this beautiful space a warm historic charm.
Cottonwood Crown is ideal and economical for families or small groups, with this 2 floor, 1400 sq ft apartment all to yourselves. There are flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 6, in 4 big beds between the 2 bedrooms and living room. Cottonwood Crown can also be combined with Cottonwood Canopy (the main floor suite) to accommodate up to 10.
Retreat to the haven of our secluded beautiful back garden. It is a great place to pass the time or to dine with your family under the big Cottonwood tree. Or enjoy the views of the garden from our great balcony in the living room. The front deck gets lots of sun and overlooks the quaint front garden. It is a great spot for summer lounging and watching the trickle of characters quietly zip by on their bicycles.
We provide all the amenities you need for self-catering, so that you can be self-sufficient and economical, without paying the charges hotels surprise you with. We include great furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, fresh linens and towels, and a package with maps, information, and tips to help you acclimatize. All utilities and services are all free and unlimited, including laundry, street parking, heating (radiators), electricity, cable television, high speed wireless internet, and even long distance phone calls!
We are very fortunate to have all the best areas of Vancouver within walking distance, while being hidden away in a charming and secluded neighborhood. From Downtown Vancouver and the 2010 Olympic Venues (only 2 km away!) to cafes and music, to beaches and forests, it is all a walk away.
Traveling can be expensive, risky, stressful, and exhausting. With 20 years in the business, and thousands of happy guests we can assure you of our ongoing standards and professionalism. And if ever you have questions or need a hand, there is always a manager on call to assist you. We make it simple so you can take the weight off your shoulders and enjoy your stay in this idyllic city.
