Eagles Nest is about 90 minutes south of Whistler Ski Resort, 20-30 minutes northeast of downtown Vancouver, 10-30 minutes from incredible hiking, skiing and snow boarding on our local mountains (Mount Seymour, Grouse Mountain, and Cypress Bowl) and two and a half hours from Seattle.
Vancouver / Deep Cove area
You may choose to hike the beautiful Baden Powell Trail which can be accessed just steps away from Eagle's Nest. After about 45 minute's of experiencing majestic Douglas Fir forest, and crossing numerous gurgling streams, you come out at the "Rock", a granite promontory offering breath taking views of Deep Cove and the Indian Arm.
Neighborhood attributes include the charming town of Deep Cove itself with it’s wonderful restaurants, cafes, gift shops, and kayak rentals. All of this only a 5 minute walk away from the house (Eagle's Nest). There is a large grocery store 5 minutes away by car.
Proximal attractions include Vancouver's famous Stanley Park featuring the Vancouver Aquarium, Horseshoe Bay; a seaside village, marina and major ferry depot, Grouse Mountain Gondola, Lighthouse Provincial Park, and Whytecliff Provincial Park.

The second bedroom has one queen and one double bed and is adjacent to the main bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi and separate shower.
Overlooking Deep Cove, in a secluded cul-de-sac, Eagle's Nest is designed to capture stunning panoramic views of pristine mountains, ocean, islands, marina and gardens. These views are enthusiastically declared, by all who visit, to be of the best in Vancouver. As our guests, you may relax and be entertained by the profuse bird life including bald eagles, hawks and humming birds or by the yachts and kayaks gliding quietly in and out of Deep Cove below.
Soak up the views on the huge, private feeling, 350 sq ft sunny deck featuring gas BBQ, table for six and lots of comfortable seating. Binoculars are available for close up views and star gazing at the beautiful night sky away from the city lights.
Further details outdoors: You may wander into the garden, across the bridge over the stream, and take in the beautiful views while relaxing in the hot tub. There is a natural wood enclosure providing privacy while outside.
