About the home
Our home, like many in British Columbia is built with the main living space upstairs and then a fully self-contained apartment downstairs. Here, we are renting our one-bedroom downstairs apartment called Princess Park Suite to vacationers, new residents and contract workers.
We are located in the Upper Lonsdale neighbourhood of North Vancouver, approximately 20 minutes drive from Downtown Vancouver, or use the bus network (nearest stop 1 minute walk) in about 30-40 minutes. If you use an online map and search for Princess Park you will find our accommodation on the street with the same name.
Within about 5-10 minutes drive are Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, Mt Seymour, Cypress Mountain, Cleveland Dam & Capilano Lake, Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, Lighthouse Park and Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge and Park.
Princess Park Suite is located on the south-side of our home and all principle windows overlook quiet secluded side gardens. Across the road from the house is Princess Park which is a large natural forested park with creeks, tennis courts, childrens play area and lots of trails to explore.
The suite is fully self-contained with own private entrance, living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom with queen-size bed, shower room and laundry.
There is ample street parking.
We live upstairs and are on hand if you need any assistance but will otherwise leave you the peace and privacy you desire for your stay.

BookThe British Columbia region
British Columbia is Canada's Westernmost Province, a stunning array of mountains, lakes, rivers, temperate rainforest and even a desert region all meeting the powerful Pacific Ocean with an amazing coastline of fjords (called 'sounds' in Canada) and sandy beaches.
With the vast majority of British Columbia's 4.5 million population living in and around Vancouver and Victoria the rest of the Province is unspoilt wilderness with opportunities for wildlife sightings (deer, moose, caribou, black & grizzly bears, cougars) and gorgeous mountain sightseeing.
Search online for British Columbia, we think you'll like what you find ! If you have any questions or want suggestions on good itineries for a BC trip please feel free to get in touch.
The Vancouver / North Vancouver area
Our suite is located in North Vancouver, an affluent suburb of Vancouver, situated on the lush North Shore mountainside, just a 20 minute drive from Downtown but offering the sense of being 'away from it all'.
North Vancouver offers all day-to-day amenities including malls, supermarkets etc and is home to a number of tourist attractions including Grouse Mountain (skyride up, hiking, great views) and Capilano Suspension Bridge. A car is not necessary to get to these attractions or into Downtown Vancouver. However, if you wish to go out of the city to parks beyond you will need a hire car as the transit system only exists within Metro Vancouver.
Vancouver city offers the historic Gastown district, renovated warehouse district of Yaletown, beautiful English Bay restaurant patios or the market at Granville Island.
There is so much to do in and around this city, go hiking, kayaking, whale watching, take a cruise into a fjord, skiing, sit on a beach. It's all here !
