The villa is located in the village of Vama, heart of Bucovina, which is one of Romania's highly sought after rural touristic areas. Quiet and peaceful, yet only minutes from the main village centre, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent rural houses for eating out traditional Romanian meals.
The villa benefits from its own private garden, deck, with stunning mountain views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With six double bedrooms and three bathrooms, the villa is ideal for two families with children, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Bucovina region
The name Bucovina means “the land of beech trees" and is used since 1775, when the region becomes part of Habsburg Monarchy, and then latter part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire.
Now Bucovina is one of he most highly sought after tourist areas in Romania. The area is not only popular because of its natural beauty, good food and friendly people. Bucovina is world famous for its churches and their unique frescoes that are considered masterpieces of Byzantine art.
Vama area
Vama is really is a hidden gem; it is a small picturesque village in the heart of Bucovina, a mountain region in the northeastern Carpathian Mountains of Romania.

How to get there
Option 1 • Take British Airways, or your preferred carrier flight to Bucharest, Romania. • Take the 21.00h, first class sleeping carriage night train, from Bucharest, Gara de Nord, to Vama and arrive at 5.25. Option 2 • Take TAROM (Romanian Airlines) to Suceava (Romania), via Bucharest. Depart London 12.30 arrive in Suceava at 22.00. • Take a taxi or a private hire transfer to Vama. Option 3 • Take TAROM, Austiran Airlines or Malev to Iasi (Romania) via Bucharest, Vienna or Budapest. Depart London 6.20, arrive in Iasi at 13.15. • Take a train or a private hire transfer to Vama. Option 4 • Take Wizzair (http://wizzair.com/) from London Luton, to Cluj (£44 return). • Take a train, or hire a car from a major company and drive to Vama (220 km).
