The Valletta area
Valletta, The Fortress City, Citta' Umilissima, “a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen” is Malta's Capital city: a living, working city, the heart of the Maltese Islands. The city is busy by day, yet retains a timeless atmosphere.
The grid-like nature of the narrow streets boasts some of Europe's finest architectural and artistic works, churches, façades and palaces, walking around Valletta you’ll come across something special around every corner: statues, niches, fountains and the odd artisan entertaining the passers by.
Narrow side streets are full of interesting, quaint, shops and cafés, while Valletta’s main streets are dotted with larger international branded shops for fashion, banks, jewellery etc...

There are numerous daily flights from the UK leaving from Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester, Bristol and most other regional airports. Air Malta operate frequent flights from most European countries as well as British Airways, Easyjet. AirOne and RyanAirways which all fly to Malta.
There is a regular bus service running from the Airport to Valletta or there is a good taxi service taking about 15 mins to reach Valletta. Car hire from the Airport would be another option.

Apartment is very well-located, with amazing view from the windows. From this place you can walk everywhere in Valletta (restaurants, bars, museums). Besides in the vicinity you can do the grocery shopping (there is a small shop). Oposite the building there is a place from where you can take a water taxi to Sliema. As for the apartment itself, it is very well-equipped, the owner took care for every detail (there is everything you need during the stay, especially in the kitchen. The apartment is also well-mantained, generally is clean and in good condition. Alexander, the owner welcomed us very warmly, he told us important information about our stay in Malta. What is more we were nicely surprised by his hospitality (he gave us water, a bottle of wine, cookies, bread and milk). We had a wonderful time there. |

Out of our 4 visits to Malta we enjoyed your accommodation way above the others. The situation overlooking the harbour and viewing the activity on the water was fascinating and very relaxing. The flat is very comfortable and very well equipped, and we looked forward to going back to it after our days out and about. We found it to be the perfect place to relax and soak up the vibrant Maltese atmosphere and explore Valletta on foot. No car necessary as easy access to ferry to Sliema and buses that take you all over the island. We loved it.

Just returned from our travels and wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying in you lovely apartment. The location was perfect and we found the apartment very well equipped and comfortable. We explored Valetta by foot; boat and bus and found it a very interesting place to stay.
We ate a few evenings at the Café Mersk across the road where we found the staff very friendly and the fish very good – with great views of the sunset. Prices in Malta are very reasonable compared to Italy!
We would not hesitate to recommend your apartment to anyone looking for a base in Valetta.
