Upon entrance to The Old Mint you will find a large entrance hall, which opens out into an internal glass covered court yard with a part glass lift, which will elevate you to the entrance door of your accommodation. Upon entry you will be greeted by a very modern contemporary holiday let accommodation with a typical open plan Mediterranean kitchen/living/dining area (Air Conditioned) with lovely views over to Sliema across Marsamxett harbour, a shower room with WC and a double (Air Conditioned) bedroom with a double bed.
The second bedroom is accessed via traditional stone spiral steps having a double bed (Fan Cooled). Further to the accommodation there is large Patio Doors from the kitchen/living/dining area to a Terrace with wood table and chairs offering alfresco dining, from the terrace you will find spiral steps to the roof top terrace where you can lounge in the sun with panoramic views hard to come by in Valletta.

The Valletta / Central Valletta area
Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage City, being a haven for museums, churches, art, and wonderful antique centers. Its main shopping streets are Republic Street and Merchants Street having branded fashion shops to please the most of you, definite stops on the tourist path. Here you will find small narrow streets that are lined with art and selling everything you can imagine. There are votive statues, fountains, courtyards, gardens, superb restaurants and café's.
See the Monuments for the photography buff, there are around 320 monuments in Valletta. The city has been ruled historically by the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, and the Order of the Knights of St John.
There is always something going on at one of the theatres, many exhibitions throughout the year, cinema in English, or just simply people watch from one of the many alfresco café's dotted around the City for your pleasure. The city boast many quaint wine bars, occupying buildings of great historical architecture from a bygone time, ensuring a peaceful environment to chat about your days adventure or simply enjoy the many fine wines on offer.
In summary Valletta is a City that certainly has character, history and packed with plenty to do and see, the icing on the cake is to enjoy it from an accommodation that is definitely amongst the best you will find in a private holiday let.
