The Old Mint No1 offers comfort and relaxation within a spacious, modern and airy Apartment that sets a standard of holiday letting accommodation, which sets itself apart. Upon entrance to this enchanting building, you will recognize a wonderful blend of antiquity with a modern twist, where design against concept has been achieved within a totally refurbished building of heritage. Needless to say, the WOW factor is certainly on the menu here!
Upon entrance to The Old Mint you will find a large entrance hall, which opens out into an internal glass covered court yard with a part glass lift, which will elevate you to the entrance door of your accommodation. Upon entry you will be greeted by a very modern contemporary holiday let accommodation with a typical open plan Mediterranean kitchen/living/dining area (Air Conditioned) living area has a very high ceiling, a shower room with WC. The upper floor is accessed via a stainless steel spiral staircase to the upper level having 2 single beds and 1 double bed in two bedrooms respectively of which both bedrooms have Air Conditioning and a bathroom serves these rooms.

I am very sorry to learn about your frustration, I would like to point out for the benefit of any future guest that we are 100% transparent and draw your attention to the Booking Platform of which was used namely Holiday Lettings to which our Booking Contract is viewable once you have selected your available dates, the Booking Contract outlines all the terms, conditions, fees and charges and clearly states an allowance of Eur5.00 per day for electric, quote;
Electricity consumption - Electricity will be provided within the rental cost at an allowance of EUR 35.00 per 7 nights stay (EUR 5.00 per day). This is a provision put in place due electricity abuse, you will be provided with electricity cards in addition to the allowance and charged at the end of your stay for any electric cards used. No refund of unused electricity is given. un-quote...
Prior to monitoring electricity certain guest would leave the accommodation for an evening or day out and leave Air Conditioning units running whilst not in residence, thus we introduced several years ago an allowance to keep electricity consumption to a sensible level, whilst offering an adequate amount for a 7 night stay at Eur35.00 or Eur5.00 per night.
Just for the record your consumption for your 7 night stay in September 2014 was Eur19.04 which was Eur15.96 less than the allowance.
You had the opportunity to read all the reviews via TripAdvisor as well as the Booking Contract prior to any commitment, thus NO surprises. One can only assume you did not read the 'Booking Contract' of which in given its content should take no more than 3-5 minutes to read through.
After you completed your booking via Holiday Lettings we also sent you the Booking Contract again and although Holiday Lettings confirmed your stay we also sent you an email subjected 'Booking Confirmation' with a further link to the Booking Contract.
Should you leave the accommodation later than 10:00am on your departure date you have an option to retain the accommodation at Eur5.00 per hour, which is also outlined on the Booking Contract.
I am sorry this left a 'bitter taste' perhaps next time you are making a booking you may care to browse the Terms and Conditions, to place them within a small field on a web page would render the advert untidy a link is provided to open the Terms and Conditions on Holiday Lettings.

Thank you for your feedback, please note that our Booking Form terms and Condition's clearly state the electric conditions, under point 5. of which font size is the same throughout the Form. I note that you were not charged anything for electricity. We have had in the past where electric consumption is not monitored guest that leave heating/cooling appliances on whilst not at the property, thus we give an allowance built within the rental cost, we rarely charge guest only on extreme electric usage. We dont have a credit card merchant facility and thus a bank to bank transfer is the only option at present with credit card facility being looked into.
