About the home

Accommodation:

Spacious yet cosy chalet, ideal for families or groups of friends.
4 twin rooms (beds are designed so they can be pushed together) and a mezzanine with 2 single beds. There is a double sofa-bed in the lounge.
3 Bathrooms
Spacious lounge area with 2 sofa's and an arm chair, log fire, Dutch Satellite (many of the programs are in English with Dutch subtitles), TV and DVD.
Number 23 has 3 balconies on different levels to make the most of the spectacular views.
There is a large dining table to comfortably sit 10.
The chalet has electric underfloor heating and wall heaters so is always nice and cosy.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering or in-house catering can be arranged.
Large ski lockers are situated next to the front door for safe storage of all equipment.
There is a washing machine downstairs.

Facilities and services:

The chalet is sold on either a self catered or catered basis.
Underground parking is offered for a weekly fee of €60 or there is free parking at the entrance to the park.
Bread and croissants can be delivered to your door every morning (winter only).
We offer a luggage service so there is no need to carry your bags to and from your chalet making your stay as relaxing as possible.
We can pre-order lift passes, equipment hire and arrange ski lessons or mountain bike guiding so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy your stay.
There is a bar/restaurant with large terrace in the chalet park with direct access to and from the piste, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a hard day on the slopes (winter only).

Peisey Vallandry is a wonderful small resort based in Les Arcs, in the heart of the Paradiski area (one of the largest linked ski areas in the world) ideal for families, beginners through to expert and everyone in-between!
You and your family will be able to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne using the Vanoise Express cable car in Vallandry. Peisey Vallandry is a great resort for beginners right up to the advanced snowboarders and skiers, with some World Class Freeride/Off Piste routes alongside some wide blue runs and exciting tree runs. As well as skiing there is a wealth of other things to do from swimming and spas, kids play, dog sleding, walking, snow shoeing and nordic skiing. Once you have finished your day on the piste there is a great selection of fun apres-ski bars and classic Savoyard restaurants to sample.
This is definitely a resort you will want to come back too again and again.

Further details

2 weeks prior to your arrival you will receive comprehensive details on check-in procedure, directions, booking forms for equipment, lift passes, activities etc.
On arrival you will go to the PVR Reception and will be met by a member of our team who will check you in, take a security deposit and show you to your chalet. We deliver your luggage to and from your chalet so there is no carrying heavy bags around.
There will be a 24hr emergency number you can call while you are staying with PVR and the reception will be open every day during the season.

Conditions

Chalet rental is from Sat to Sat during the winter but any other time of year can be flexible.
Discounts offered on multiple week stays and special offers run from time to time for early/last minute bookings and other special occasions.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable deposit of 750EURO required on arrival (credit card), to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
30% of rental fee due immediately to secure booking and the remainder of the balance six weeks before your arrival date.

Directly on the piste

The Rhone / French Alps / Savoie region

In winter the resort is a ski area and has lots of snow and can get down to below -20 degrees.
Even in the depths of winter there are many sunny days and towards the end of the winter you can sit outside soaking up the sun in a vest and shorts!
Spring is beautiful with all the flowers, lush colours and snow capped peaks.
Summer can get very hot with temperatures over 30 degrees!

The Vallandry-Les Arcs area

The Vanoise National Park is just down the road from the resort and is well worth a visit at any time of year as there is always plenty of wildlife to spot, including Marmots, Ibex, Chamoise, Gypaete and many more.
