Closeby is the recently renovated fine Mercado Central one of Valencia's (Spain's largest) foremost modernist buildings, worth a visit for the myriad of fabulous fresh produce from the Huerta (Valencia's garden of Eden). Outside check out the great value cafes for 'watching the world go by. Opposite is the Gothic C.15 Lonja now UNESCO listed....absolutely stunning internally and externally.....much of the city's earlier wealth was generated here.
A visit to the iconic City of Arts and Sciences is a must..
Easily accessable for classical music lovers are the Palaus de Musica and Artistes for International level opera.
Europes largest Biopark just two metro stops away. See enjoy and assist in the conservation of different species in their natural habitats. Over 1000 different species.

Fly to Valencia. The apartment is reached within 10 mins by taxi. Cost, about €15. Direct airport metro link to Angel Guimera station 1.85€, line 3 and 5 and just 15mins from airport .....perfect for a long weekend or a mid-week (cheap flights) break
Clickair .com, Easy jet, Thomson travel, Ryan-air, daily from London and other UK ie; East Midlands Bristol airports most of the year. Plus numerous charters during the summer months. All offer great deals.
Vueling.com from Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Milan etc.
All national trains to Estacion Norde just 8 mins walk or one stop metro lines 3 & 5 Xativa to Angel Guimera.

El Carmen and Abastos vie as Valencia's most vibrant and cosmopolitan 'hotspots'. Additionally Abastos benefits with its excellent value public transport network coupled with its extensive local amenities ie; quality supermarkets, municipal indoor pools, Turkish baths, gym, Valencia's best tapas-bars/cafes, ice-cream parlours - Italians watch out ! these are seriously good... Many are terraced along the delightful tree lined sidewalks surrounding the imposing 'deco' styled Mercado. Some of the city's best restaurants offering International level cuisine as well as local all at very keen prices. As this barrio is less touristic but hugely popular with Valencianos - you might well enjoy far better value and higher standards of service when compared to lesser barrios. Its hard not to feel spoilt for choice ie; the renowned Villaplana restauarant open since the 1950's, this amongst others are less then 4 mins walk. Madrilenos 'in the know' - head here first- and for very good reason. This is location, location with assured civility.

Across the Calle Angel Guimera in 'hip' Calle Juan Llorens - more excellent eateries, bars and for night owls several well established dance clubs inc' the Havana club for salsa etc. Pacha nearby in Calle San Vicente.
Calle Quart just 10 mins walk, Valencia's night-scene of barrio El Carmen ie; uber -trendy bars, restaurants and many clubs - if you still have the energy! Enjoy some of the best facilities the city offers with your stay at this apartment without long late night walks.

A deposit is required for damages/breakages either €200 cash or a U.K cheque with valid Bank's guarantee card for the equivalent amount in sterling £200, refundable at end of stay. Also proof of I.D required at time of entry to apartment ie, passport, or for Europeans and otherwise a current I.D card.
This apartment is in a smart respectable residential building with families, no parties are permissable. General terms and conditions available by request.
A foldaway cot and high chair is available on request.
