About the home

This apartment is ideal for a city break in the up and coming city of Valencia. Situated next to the City of Arts and Sciences and the old riverbed, now converted in to gardens, you are also just a 10 minute bus ride from either the beach or the city centre. If you decide to come in March you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy the Fallas festival, with its spectacular fireworks displays.

It is well connected to the city centre: 7 bus routes within 30m of the apartment. Metro stop Line 5, "amistad" 600m from the apartment. Connects directly to the airport and the Feria de Valencia.
The nearest beach, Playa Malvarosa is 2km away.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

Just south of Valencia you can visit the National park of L'Albufera, where they grow the rice for Valencia's most famous dish, Paella. Here you can take a boat ride on the lake. In El Palmar the streets are lined with restaurants serving all sorts of rice dishes. I'd highly recommend it. To the north is Sagunto, a roman fort.

The Valencia / Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias area

Valencia is a great option if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away. You can walk through the Turia Gardens, where the old river used to flow, or take a stroll through the historic centre; one of Europe's largest and well preserved; stopping on the way at one of the numerous restaurants and bars, or visit the City of Arts and Sciences complex, with its spectacular Opera House and Aquarium.
You can watch a football match at The Mestalla, or for the children there is the newly opened bioparc, a zoological attraction. There are also many art museums.
Fallas is 15th-19th March- the fireworks displays are incredible.
The best thing though is the weather. It rarely goes below 10º in winter!!!
