Home description
The apartment is on the second floor of a 1930s apartment building. Despite the central location, there's a nice neighbourhood feel to the area which has its own market selling fresh produce and a mix of small local shops, bars, restaurants etc.
The rooms are light and airy, with small wrought iron balconies overlooking an area of greenery to the front of the building. The apartment has one double bedroom and the comfortable sofa in the sitting room easily converts to a single bed. There is a separate kitchen, well equipped with everything you need to take advantage of the fresh local produce available in the markets.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
Valencia is a great place for a weekend break but a longer visit will give you a chance to really get to know this lively and vibrant city.
With its own Mediterranean micro-climate, even in winter the days remain mostly sunny and bright. There's lots to do and see and the beach and port are easy to get to using the excellent public transport system. A little further out is the Albufera national park with the lovely beaches of El Saler and La Devesa.
Valencia / Valencia City Centre area
The city centre is compact so that all the central sights and shops are within easy walking distance. From the apartment a short walk will take you to central shopping area around Calle Colon or to Barrio Carmen which is packed with bars and restaurants.
Valencia is rightly known as a party town but it's also a very safe place to be out and about at night.
How to get there
Valencia is well served by the budget airlines. Easyjet operate direct flights from Gatwick, Stansted and Bristol. Ryaniar go from Stansted, Liverpool and East Midlands and through the summer Jet2Com have flights from Manchester and Leeds. If you're arriving by train, the central station is less than 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. Should you want to hire a car and explore the surrounding coutnryside there are 3 car hire companies at the station. Europcar is probably the cheapest and most efficient. There is free on street parking in the streets around the apartment building - except on Tuesday morning when the local street market takes place.

Guestbook
We really enjoyed our stay - the flat is in a very central position which is great when you are new to a city. By the amount of building going on I would imagine Valencia will be changing rapidly over the next few years - the old city around the cathedral is certainly one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Spain. We also had a great time watching the Americas Cup - so glamorous! Anyway thanks again. Karen Wicker, UK, April 2007
We had a lovely time in Valencia and your apartment was perfect for our needs. All the very best to you and Melanie. Lucy Ashiagbor, UK, August, 2007
We had a great time in Valencia, it’s a city with lots to offer and we felt that this past week was a good start but leaves us with much more to do – after all, you can’t stop in every bar or restaurant in just a week however hard you try! The apartment is a perfect base to start exploring the city and its proximity to the public transport really helps. The pack you put together was so comprehensive it made us feel very confident about spending time in a strange city, thanks very much for taking the time to do so. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well stocked with all we could need for our stay. So if you want to pass my e-mail address to any prospective clients then please feel free to do so and I’ll tell them to go ahead and book. Stephen Foster, UK, September 2007
