*This typical Valencian villa has been fully renovated to an exceptional standard, and decorated by a professional interior designer.
* The luxury 4 bedroomed house is situated in a tranquil area of outstanding scenic beauty with unrivalled views to Xativa castle.
* The villa is a bungalow with a mezzanine level. It has a large comfortable sitting room with a log stove and a fully fitted dining kitchen with a utility area. There is also a well stocked comfortable library. The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite with a bath and separate shower (the blue bathroom). There are two further double bedrooms (one on the mezzanine level) and two further single bedrooms, one of which is currently equipped with a baby's cot. There is a second luxurious bathroom (the red bathroom) and outside there is a covered porch, and a large terraced patio. Bed linen is provided at the outset of every rental and there is a washing machine for cleaning linen mid stay. Mid stay cleaning and serviced linen changes can be accommodated for an extra charge.
* The house is air conditioned for summer or heated if you are having a winter holiday! Seven people and a baby can be comfortably accommodated in our two double bedrooms, one twin, one baby room and an adult single.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
*Xativa, the "town of 1000 fountains" is the capital of the Costera region of Valencia, famous for its orange and lemon groves. The surrounding area around offers some great walking, hiking, rockclimbing and mountainbiking. There are also many other historic towns to explore nearby - for example the university town of Alcoy and the amazing village at Guadalest, built entirely into a mountain. And Xativa is only 45 minutes by train to the centre of Valencia city, with trains every 30 minutes throughout the day.
*Valencia itself is a vibrant and exciting City and in 2007 was the first European host of the Americas Cup - sailings premier world event. Valencia is hosting the 2008 European Grand Prix.

* March - Fallas: marvel at the 30m tall sculptures at most road intersections - all of which are spectacularly burned on the final night of the festival. * August - Xativa festival with bullfights, concerts, carnival attractions, street markets, fireworks daily and plenty more besides. * December - more on street carnivals with the traditional nativity scene recreating the town of bethlehem - complete with real camels, lambs, ducks, turkeys and cattle. * January - Reyes parade depicting the arrival of the 3 wise kings on the night of January 5th.
How to get there
*Budget airlines - EasyJet, Jet2.Com, Ryanair, Vueling and BMIBaby all fly to Valencia airport - 45 minutes drive away. Alternative airports include Alicante (1:30 hours) and Murcia (2:00 hours). *Driving: you can hire a car at all airports. *Non-driving: Take a taxi (approx EURO 20) or the airport bus from Valencia airport to Valencia Nord Station. From there there are trains every 30 minutes to Xativa. Look for trains going to either Moixent or L'Alcudia de Cespins. * The house is less than 10 mins drive / taxi ride from Xativa Station

Further details outdoors: * A major attraction of this villa is its beautiful garden which is well stocked with a variety of mediterranean plants and trees, a grass lawn for badminton or football, a large swimming pool with extensive wooden decking for sunbathing (even in January if you are lucky!), an orange grove and of course a Valencian pallero (large brick bar-b-que).
