Chulilla is famous for its healing mineral waterfalls, canyon, caves, medieval castle, restaurants, and rock climbing. This elegant reformed mountain villa is surrounded by pine forests with red squirrel´s and birds of prey. Ideal for those wanting to lounge by the pool or do some Yoga. Soft furnishings and high beamed fanned ceilings make it light and airy. Many terraces to read and relax. Breakfast on the balcony is a must, the views are amazing! Huge pool and decked lounging area with outside shower, BBQ & bench area for entertaining.
4 Large bedrooms, one with en-suite. large Moroccan style bathroom. Huge reformed double kitchen. Perfect for cooking in large groups. A sofa-bed is also provided with linen in the main lounge area if you have up to 10 people staying.

For those MOTO GP bike fans, CHESTE race track is just 40 minutes away. These are normally free to watch on the weekends, depending on the races. Bring along a pic-nik and get the best seat in the house for some hair raising races in Valencia´s famous race track. Drink & food stalls available.
Lucky for us, Valencia has now been picked to host the FORMULA 1 Grand prix races in Valencia city. This is an exciting time with the America's cup also being held in Valencia city for the second time running. There's always something to do. Just hop in the car and your'll be in Valencia city in 45 minutes.
For those Golf fans, head to Chiva (el bosque 30 minutes drive from the villa - This is a challenging course with hills. facilities include two tier driving ranges and 2 great restaurants) Betera for a easiler course and more towards the beaches in El Saler.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

Chulilla enjoys a mild climate. At around 322m above sea level and protected by the surrounding mountains, in both summer and winter the temperatures remain very pleasant. The average winter temperature is between 10 and 15 degrees, whilst in summer it hovers between 25 and 35 degrees. There are many places of interest in Chulilla which is just a 15 minute stroll from the villa. Lakes, waterfalls, castle ruins, ancient church, incredible gorge and canyon. Professional climbers flock to Chulilla on the weekends to climb the impressive canyon walls which tower over the blue lakes. The white washed town square offers restaurants, bars, cafes, Chemist, hardware store, mini supermarket, bakers and butcher shops, newsagents and its own tourist information office.

Valencia / Chulilla area

Year after year Chulilla´s traditions are brought back to life and enjoyed by villagers and visitors alike. The two most important fiestas are "La Enrama" and "Las Cruces": ( The Festival of Crosses ).
Open air concerts in Chulilla run all year round but August and September are the best times to see a mix of classical music to modern music. The village square is a nice place to have a beer in the afternoons and evenings.Other Local Activities include; Rock Climbing, Fishing, Plenty of nature to see. There is a weekly market in the village square where you can purchase clothes, antiques, fabrics, ethnic jewelery, fresh fruit and veg. Valencia is only a 50kms drive away if you want to see the famous beaches, museums, America´s cup races, ports, shopping and much more. Lliria town (25mins away) offers a larger weekly market, shopping and big supermarkets.

How to get there

Easyjet, Spanair, Vueling, Iberia, click airways and BA all fly to Valencia. The airport is 40 minutes away. Car hire is essential.

Large Modern kitchen with a country cottage style. Gas cooker hob with electric oven. Cooking equipment and outdoor BBQ equipment is provided.
Please note: We are not part of a chain of hotels, we have provided basic catering equipment to suit a mid range of cooking needs and cannot provide as many utensils/kitchen gadgets as you would have in your own home. Many Dining areas (kitchen, balcony, BBQ area) This kitchen was designed with large numbers of people in mind, easy to cook without bumping into anyone. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, shuttered windows and double wardrobes.
Living room is open plan with three sofas, one being a sofa bed. Moroccan style central bathroom with wood effect floors. Many other classical features make this villa unique and very memorable.
Included in the booking is a breakfast hamper with the essentials to get you going until you have settled in to go shopping. Also included is a welcome pack with leaflets of all the things to do in Valencia, as well as information on the rental home and village.
For those with babies - a cot is available but please let us know in advance so we can set this up for you before you arrive. The cot does not come with any baby blankets or sheets so please bring your own ones.

Further details outdoors:
Decked porch/exterior lounge area for watching the kids in the pool. Plenty of shaded areas to relax in. 4 sun loungers are provided on the deck, along with 4 sun chairs.
We also have an inflatable baby paddling pool, which you can fill up on the deck if you wish to do so - please let us know in advance so we can have this ready for your arrival.
For those wanting to do some YOGA , the large decked area by the pool provides a tranquil and calm space.

This is our home so please treat with respect. We want you to be comfortable and have a fantastic stay. If you would like a longer term stay for courses etc please contact me as well. We are now offering a corporate service for Yoga groups, painting classes, guitar groups, walking groups, we welcome all teachers of all groups. email with any enquiries.

Conditions

Bookings are made with a deposit and rental contract, A securirty fee will also be required which you will have returned to you once departed from the villa provided nothing has been broken.

All Low & High season rates are for a maximum booking of ten people. These rates are based on the rental of the entire villa not per person. We are very flexible on arrival dates and times so please email me with any queries if you are not sure with what day to start from.

High season rates during the formula 1 races in Valencia, are based on high demand for this period.

Please book early to early to avoid dissapointment. Over this period we also offer a corporate facilities, breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Thanks so much, we have had a great holiday - Chulilla is a great little town. We've enjoyed sitting in the square eating Tapas al fresco and also at the 'barbara' restaurant. The house has so many lovely different places to eat and relax in, we've used them all!
Your management staff have been really helpful and been here when ever we've needed help. Ali and I have done lots of YOGA on the deck and will always remember the scent of the pines!
