About the home

Sunny apartment ideally located a 300 m. of the see, 800 m. of the Ciudad Artes y Ciencias and near the beaches (15 min.walking), with Supermarket and restaurants nearest. Good public transport to the centre of the city. Perfect for holidays, business travels, conventions, etc. Discount for long stay.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

Valencia has an average temperature of 16.7oC which favours mild winters and warm summers, a good appeal to enjoy the wonderful sunny beaches of white sand .Valencia was founded by the Romans in the second century B.C., it was overrun by the Visigoths and later by the Arabs.

These turned the city into an essential economic and cultural centre. The Arab heritage still remains in agriculture and traditional
craftsmanship, particularly in the irrigation systems and the growing of rice and oranges.

In the centuries XV and XVI are representative of an economic, political and cultural revival. Valencia became one of the most powerful cities of the Mediterranean Sea. To these centuries correspond the most important monuments of the city, such as the Serrano Towers, la Lonja (the old market) or the Miguelete (the cathedral's belfry).

The Valencia / Puerto-Playa area

Valencia is a land of musicians, painters and scientists, a mixture that explains the reason for a City of Arts and Science. A real futurist city integrated in an city area of 350.000 m2 located in the old bed of the river Turia. It has four magnificent buildings where avant-garde and creativity blend together in an image of shocking beauty: L'Hemisfèric, the Museum of Science Príncipe Felipe, the Oceanographic Park and the Palace of Arts.

This architectonic space dedicated to arts and science includes exhibition halls, laser shows and an interactive museum. We strongly recommend this visit.

La Lonjal, built in the XV century, it is considered one of the best constructions in the non-religious Gothic period in Europe. Central Market, Pl. Redonda, Catedral Botanical Garden, are very interesting

Cheap flights available from Thomson fly, Easyjet Low cost, and Iberia, British Airways, Alitalia, etc.
The Airport is aprox. 8 km. from Valencia, and more or less 12 km. to the apartment.

There are bus and taxis to the city. If you want, there are too car hire in the Airport and North railway Station.

By car, you must follow exit Airport by N-III. When you are in Avda. del Cid, follow to City Centre, Marqués del Turia, Aragón Bridge and Avda. del Puerto.

The apartment is beside the harbour and near de beaches and Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias.

“Ideal central location for all interests” My wife and our two late teen sons stayed in this apartment in August 2011, it was ideal, spacious and comfortable with all amenities and plenty of room for each of us to have space and a central lounge to enjoy each others company. It is on the 6th Floor but has a good lift and air conditioning to make it comfortable even on the hottest days. It is located centrally, 5 mins walk from the metro into the city centre, 15 mins walk from the Parc de Sciences (Ocean Graphic/science museum/hemisferic) and also 15 mins walk from Valencias wonderful beaches and for those of you Grand Prix enthusiasts just 5 mins walk from the Valencia Street Circuit. There are good restaurants all around and supermarkets just around the corner literally 2 minutes walk. The Owner (Carmen) is very helpful and friendly, she cannot do enough for you and is very informative with advice regarding travel etc. A very nice place to stay. We will be going back!!
