About the home

The property is an older but totally modernised spacious Spanish villa with all modern conveniences. It has a large private pool with additional outside cooking facilities, fully equipped family sized lounge, 4 comfortable bedrooms, modern kitchen, dinning room and modern bathroom. It is set in an acre of private gardens and terraces with orange, olive, fig and almond groves. The house is tucked away up in the hills outside Valancia offering a peacefull and relaxing holiday for all age groups with the added attraction of the city of Valencia being only a short drive away.
In addition to the traditional Spanish shops, restaurants and bars in the village, there are two supermarkets within a 5 minuite drive of the villa as well as a local garage/mini supermarket close by which is open on a Sunday . Also a number of fantastic beaches. bars, restautants, cafe's in nearby villages and towns.

There is a spacious lounge equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD's, PlayStation with games, ipod/mp3 dock, variety of books, games & music. The whole interior is typically spanish with tiled floors, and a wood burning fire.There is a modern well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable .

Further details outdoors:
There is a large (10mtr X 5Mtr aprox) pool with filter and pump. Outside there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a separate outdoor kitchen with a sink, electricity and a large open fire especially designed for cooking Paella (pans provides). There is also a spacious area for sunbathing beside the pool. Away from the pool there are 2 further sun terraces as well as a shaded area for a cooler option. The house has many fruit and nut trees and picking the fruits ( when in season) is permitted. There is ample private parking.
Pool cleaned & checked regularly - Cleaning and Laundry service provided.

Further details

The pool is attended & availble all year round. The gardens are totally private and all the fruit, nuts etc can be picked and eaten by guests. Payment can be made either by direct bank transfer or a cheque sent. Cheque must be cleared before keys will be sent.

Conditions

No pets allowed, no smoking inside the house, there is wheelchair access but to only the house, upper terraces and pool area.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

The climate is good all year round. The coolest months are Nov - Feb ( 16 deg day cold night) the other months of the year are warm in spring and autumn and very hot in summer. Valencia is Spains 3rd City steeped in history it has a fantastic sandy beach linned with bars and restaurants and some of the best archtecture to be seen in Spain. It has its own bullring, countless museums and art galleries, Just built is the Science Park and L'Oceanografic and a world famous covered market. Eating out is an experience, you can choose from fantastic cheap Tapas bars to sofisticated restautants and everything in between. If you like football there are 2 world class teams in the area, Valencia and Villa Real .The house is situated less than 10 minutes drive from the moto GP circuit where superbikes,moto GP and world touring cars race. Valencia now hosts a round of the FIA Formula One World Championships, and the house is perfect for combining a holiday and taking the chance of seeing this spectacular race around the city and old dock area.

The Valencia area

15 minutes drive from the house is one of Spains largest shopping malls catering for all tastes and a huge hypermarket where you can buy all your provisions including excelent local wine, cheaper than duty free. If you prefer, the village(Godeletta) is aprox 1Km away, it has several good shops selling fresh produce, also there is a large modern supermarket just outside the village. In August there is the famous Tomato festival in Bunol, (a must). For the Golfers, there is a world class golf couse (El Bosque) less than 3 km away. In March Valencia has a week of festivals where the whole city is alive 24/7 with street parades and parties. The whole area is famous for its festivals, too many to list but a good visitors guide will list them all (provided at the Villa).The city has a fantastic beach lined with excellent restaurants and Tapas bars.

Fly to Valencia, house aprox 20Kms from airport, cheap flights from Bournemouth, Stanstead, Bristol, Coventry with Thompson, Ryanair, Easyjet, Various car hire companies operate, Solmar, Europcar, Avis, best value for cars and flights on internet. A car is essential. Alternative airport is Alicante which is aprox one and a half hours drive from house. Same car hire and airlines apply

Just wanted to take a moment to say thankyou for letting us use your villa in february.
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time.The views were fabulous and the oranges we picked each morning an juiced were very tasty.I would recommend this property to all my friends.
All in all a great holiday. Comming back next year

August 2009 - Booked one week had a fantastic time, booking 2 weeks next year
July 2009 - Weather hot, pool warm - good local cheap fare available - fantastic holiday, be back next year.

Sept - Dec 2009 - We had a 3 and a half month stay, had a wonderful time, fantastic views, wonderful local scenery, lots of interesting places to visit.

Great week in September, increadibly relaxing, warm, swam in pool every day. Went to local restaurants and also cooked at the villa, inside and outside. Going back next year.

October - Had a fantastic relaxing holiday with the children. Weather great. Surroundings and views wonderful.

February 2010 - Fantastic holiday, beautiful house, used the pool, had 3 bbq's, wonderful setting, fantastic City. Comming back in June.

June 2010 - not disapointed we came back 4 months later, we enjoyed every minute.

July 2010 - Weather hot, lovely settings, lots of bbq's, also ate out. Brilliant time.

Sept -Dec 2008 - 4 Trainee Pilots stayed for 3 months, weather started out very warm. Nov/Dec evenings got cooler, heaters provided also wood fire burning stove. Had a great time, would come back if more training required in Spain.

11/072010 - Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in your home – it was fantastic!
We really enjoined it - every day.
And also the fantastic view from the hill, the privacy and at the same time the short distance to Valencia, which we visited several times, both the old part and the new part, Manice, the big shopping mall etc.
The kids made several jars with fresh almonds, and we made fresh orange juice from oranges from the garden too.
At the same time all the music and movies – a great release during some of the hottest times during the day and in the evenings.
July 2011 - Had one month at the Villa, beautiful views, lovely pool wonderful relaxing holiday

September 2011 - Used the Villa as a base because attending a local wedding. The weather was fab the Villa was perfect, there were 4 of us and we had a great time just cooking outside every night and I must say the pool is brilliant. We will be going back in 2012 to stay, fantastic place.
