Valencia's beaches/ Port/ Americas cup/F.1 city circuit/Ferias de Valencia just 15-20 mins via; direct metro-tram every 10 min's from metro Pont de Fusta just 200 metres walk. Local outdoor pool @ La Hipica set in a delightful very civilised garden setting - open July/Sept 3-4 mins walk. Major art galleries,museums,Cathedral ' 5-20 mins max' walk. City of Arts and Science 30-40 mins walk via the delightful Jardines del Turia with terraced cafes/bars etc (old riverbed).

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

Vibrant Valencia in a class of it's own for it's sheer vitality and forward vision in combining ancient old world meets dynamic brave new.

Fine tapas bars, restaurants and uber-trendy late night bars/ in trendy El- Carmen just 8 minutes walk away make exploring this city a real pleasure. Enjoy its culture, good recreation and healthy Mediiterranean lifestyle.

Beautiful long 'Blue flag' sandy beaches easily accessed within 15/40 mins combined with a pleasant all-year around climate along with great Spanish designer shopping makes Valencia hard to beat. Zarah, Mango, Loewe, Adolfo Dominguez etc all at considerably less prices than elsewhere.

You really will find Valencia most surprising and enchanting with it's great combinations and with ease and value of getting there. This has to be the year to visit...............


Valencia / Valencia City Centre area

The vibrant and 'full-on' cosmopolitan 'Centro Historica' is just 7/8 min's walking distance. The Cathedral encircled by it's two fine marbled Plazas. Further on the main Plaza Ajuntamiento with its grand belle epoque styled C.19 buildings another 6/7 minutes. The Palau Dos Agua's a splendid wonderfully 'over the top' C.18 marbled/alabaster encrusted Palace built for the Marquis de Dos Aquas; now housing a fine collection of superb Valenciana ceramics.

Museu de Bellas Artes with El Greco, Goya and Valencian artists Sorolla and Pinazo amongst other Internationally renowned Spanish painters just 4/5 min's walk away..
For modern art the impressive IVAAM with 4/5 large galleries on Calle Guillem Castro is a 15/17 mins walk, and hard to beat for its shear quality of global exhibits. Free entrance on a Sunday. Check out its excellent value restaurant or just take a drink on its lively terrace.

Children are well catered for in the city with numerous great play areas in the jardins del Turia/Viveros. The Viveros is just 5 mins away with its enchanting terraced cafes/bars. -along with Zoological gardens. Just opened for 2008 a 6 acre Biopark (possibly Europes largest) with over 1000 species of animals in a natural setting accessed easily in 20 mins by metro.

Fly to Valencia with one of the many competitive internet airline companies from London, Bristol, Manchester, E.Midlands ie; Clickair.com, Easy-jet, Iberia, B.A. Ryan-air Plus numerous other charter airline companies ie; Thomson, Monarch, Brittania etc. €15/20 cab fare from Valencia City airport, travelling time 15 mins. Metro service now available just 16 stops and one change. (line 3 and then 4 at Benimaclet) about 50 mins and just 1.85€ and then an easy 4/5 min walk from Pont de Fusta terminus to apartment - it really couldn't be cheaper or simpler. Take a value mid-week flight to take full advantage.

Good fast road connections from all major Spanish cities.

Excellent high speed economic train links to Valencia City main station from all major Spanish cities (Barcelona/ Madrid €40/60 euros. 1/3 of the price of British trains with more comfort and cleanliness ). Then 8 mins in a cab, fare approximately €8. Metro line 3 Xativa change at Benimaclet for line 4 westbound terminate @ Pont de Fusta then 3-4 mins walk.

About €15 a head.....kids very welcome. Animated bars and cafes at street level......Great value restaurants within 3 mins....3 course lunch for €7? At these prices you can enjoy eating out and mix-in with the locals.

As this apartment is in a family orientated residential building no parties or misbehaviour is permissable whatsoever and respect for fellow neighbours is to be much appreciated.
