Apartment | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Established city centre residential location just 5min semi-pedestrianised direct walk via the C.14 Serranos bridge overlooking the delightful 9km World renowned river gardens via the imposing & magnificent C.14 Torres de Serranos into the Historic City and its liveliest & most happening cosmopolitan quarter of El Carmen. Enjoy the extra convenience of accessing the city's quickest & cheapest most direct metro/tram service to the city's fine & sandy 'Blue flag' beaches just 1 min walk. Also direct No 8 bus to City's main bus station for all national routes etc.
The apartment is on the 5th floor of a smart & respectable well maintained residential purpose built block. Imposing 80's styled redecorated marbled tiled foyer leading to stairwell and efficient & fast dual lift service. Two double bedrooms one with 2.5Kw air-conditioning & variable speed ceiling fan (updraught & downdraught) the other with variable speed high-velocity fan. Both have double-glazed windows & overlook an inner shady light-well which effectively creates an efficient updraught action thus pulling air naturally throughout the entire apartment. Bedrooms and all living room windows benefit from full drop-down integral shutters (oscures all day-light & efficiently minimize heat convection - adjustable to allow air-movement).
Spacious 24m2 pleasantly bright (full of natural light) south facing living/dining area with 'eco' 2.5Kw reverse cycle (hot & cold) air-con'. Full entertainment systems ie; music centre, wide-screen TV with Spanish to English option & DVD player. Enchanting 'eye-of- the-sun' balcony with convenient easy sliding 4-piece double-glazed 'panoramic' windows. Great open aspects over wide verdant Palm tree lined avenue. Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space. Separate bathroom refitted Feb 2014 with spacious shower & extra storage space for all those bits & bobs. Hot water is via efficient 'mains' gas operated boiler - thus unlimited hot water - perfect for lashings of hot water for multiple showers. N.B Important consideration when comparing; 'all-electric' apartments - invariably offering nominal hotwater (statutory 2Kw boilers - think U.K domestic kettle!) . Drying areas accessible via lifts to roof terrace. Map supplied and DVDs.
Closest proximity to Historic city for free 'on-street' parking & large free off-street public parking, just opposite entrance of building - very handy & save a small fortune. N.B Valencia's Historic city and its immediate surrounds are totally impossible for parking & notorious for expensive tow-away's €200. Central car-parks are invariably expensive once located ie; think 25€ daily! N.B; City metro & buses finish early 23.29 - saving you money on unnecessary taxis; invariably impossible during the city's fiestas; or compromising time-wasting frustratingly long walks to remote, soulless barrios lacking public transport links etc. The city's two most famous C.14 iconic historic buildings are en-route - saves you losing your bearings, particularly useful late at night!
