Vale fo Lobo is one of Europe's finest resorts and boasts a superb golf course, a tennis academy, gym, sauna and steam room. The location of the apartment is ideal for golfers and several golf courses can be reached within a 20 minute drive. It is also ideally situated for those who enjoy riding and walking.
The Vale do Lobo / Sto Antonio area
The town of Almancil is only a 5 minute drive from the apartment and has plenty of restaurants serving traditional Portuguese cuisine and a host of international restaurants. It also has one of the most popular supermarkets in the Algarve which has an excellent selection of fresh fish and meat and stocks a large selection of English products as well.

We stayed here in June 2010 this being our second time at this apartment; it is in a great location set within the wonderful pine covered resort of Vale Do lobo. We were self catering and found the apartment had everything we needed a real home from home. There is an Aldi, Lidl, Apolonia and Pingo Doce situated a few miles away in the local town of Almancil all providing an excellent selection of fish, meats and fresh produce as well as a everything we could need at very reasonable prices. The apartment itself looks over large well tended gardens to the front and has full use of a large and small pool within the grounds there is also a poolside bar that serves excellent food. We stayed here with our two year old son and found it was ideal for him as we could let him play on the large expanse of grass in the knowledge that he was perfectly safe. Jardins Do Golfe is set within a quiet and peaceful area of Vale Do Lobo and spending days here relaxing by the pool was heaven. For getting around a car is recommended (supermarket trips etc) but the walk to the beach (Praca) is lovely and only takes about 10 minutes. The beachside complex lies at the heart of the resort's community, with vibrant bars, restaurants and stunning views of the ocean. The beach, I must say is superb, spotlessly clean with plenty of lounges and showers etc. There is also a Kangaroo Children's Club and mini-golf, and a number of water sports at the beach. Overall this is a very reasonably priced apartment that has everything one could need for a wonderful relaxing holiday in one of Europe's finest resorts. |
