Home description

The property is situated in the prime private area of Vale do Lobo known as Vale das Flores and is positioned at the edge of the beautiful Ocean golf course just off the eighth tee. Three terraces, one with Jacuzzi, allow wonderful views across the fairway to the sea.

The lovely beach, pool and restaurants are a few minutes drive away or approximately a 15 minute walk. There is also a regular minibus service every 15 minutes to take you to any location in Vale Do Lobo.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

To most people visiting the Algarve the main benefit will be the climate, with over 300 days of sunshine per year Portugal’s southern coastline is one of the warmest year-round locations in Europe. Warm sunshine can be expected from March to October, November to February is generally still pleasant with some sunshine but with periods of grey skies and some rain. However the temperatures are still approximately 10 degrees higher than in the UK on average.

One of the reasons that the Algarve has become so popular is the significant improvement of the transport infrastructure. A new motorway (A22) has recently opened which runs almost the entire length of the Algarvian coastline from east to west. Subsequently this means that routes that previously went through sleepy coastal towns, can now be covered much quicker.

Vale do Lobo is located on Portugal's central Algarve coastline, an unspoilt area with year round sun and a rich local history. The resort is located just 20 minutes drive from Faro International Airport, which is accessible from most major European cities in less than 3 hours. Lisbon, the Portuguese capital city, and Spanish city of Seville are around 2.5 hours drive away.


Vale do Lobo area

Vale Do Lobo provides a free bus service which circles the resort every 20 minutes and will collect guests from the designated bus stops or from a point close to your villa during the off season. The bus stops at the Vale Do Lobo golf club and also at the Praca which is the beach-side restaurant area, before continuing the circular route to the Vale Do Lobo Tennis Club and working its way back to the start point.

The Praca (the square) This is the main entertainment area in Vale Do Lobo and lies at the south of the resort on the waterfront. As well as several restaurants and bars there is also a superb open air swimming pool and children’s pool.

The Praca is the hub of the resort and a meeting place for many holiday makers who go there, it has a diverse range of restaurants available to suit most budgets from fine dining to lunchtime snacks.
Children’s menus are also well catered for and a beach shop is at hand to provide sun tan oil, drinks, ice creams and refreshments.

Maid Service

A maid service is available for the villa on request at an hourly rate of 9,50 Euros. 1 hr per day is usually enough for the maid to make the bed, change towels and clean the villa. Also available is a laundry service: 3 Euros per kilo.

To allow time for the villa to be prepared for the next guests, please do not arrive before 3pm on the first day of your stay and vacate the villa by 11am on the day of departure.

The Villa was wonderful and immaculate in a beautiful position and we
certainly made use of the Jacuzzi on many occasions. We have stayed in some
lovely places all over Europe and especially on Vale do Lobo - this ranks
