Home description
My apartment is located just 15 minutes’ walk from the beach, in one of the most famous golf and beach resorts in Portugal, also one where environment friendliness is very important. The resort is 'green and blue,' with a profusion of pine trees and bouganvillea and looking over the ocean from its several cliffs and golf courses.
The resort includes swimming pools (one for children) and a tennis club, besides some of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the country.
The terrace gives towards a very quiet and pleasant ensemble of pine trees and is furnished with a table, chairs, lounge chairs and barbecue so that you can dine al fresco. With one twin bedroom and a spacious sitting room with a sofa bed and plenty of storage room, the apartment is ideal for a couple or up to 4 people.

The Algarve region
With the versatility to cater for sports enthusiasts, spa lovers, gourmands and sun worshippers, Vale do Lobo is many holiday destinations in one and a perfect place for families. Its almost year-round sun and proximity to Faro airport make it eternally attractive and easy to get to.
Towns of interest nearby: Faro and praia de faro, Olhao, Tavira (also Cacela), church of sao lourenço and cultural centre in sao lourenço.
Vale do Lobo area
The apartment is only 25 minutes from Faro, capital of the Algarve (and its practical airport) and very close to exciting nightlife spots in Quinta do Lago (5 minutes by car) and Vilamoura (15 minutes by car). The resort has all amenities, including a supermarket, a resident doctor, shops, a spa and fitness centre, beauty salon, hairdresser, and in the nearby town of Loulé, a pitoresque local market. The Almancil area (5 minutes by car) offers some of the best restaurants in the Algarve.

How to get there
Ryanair flies to Faro airport (25 minute drive), I recommend also a budget rent-a-car company, operating essentially in the Algarve - Autorent. At the airport, possible to rent a car with most major companies.

By car: Lisbon 3 hours, Almancil 10 minutes, Vilamoura 15 minutes, Silves 40 minutes, Faro 20 minutes, Tavira 45 minutes, Lagos 1 hour, Seville 1 hour.
