About the home

In a great location in one of the most popular resorts in the Algarve, this beautiful interior designed villa is ideal for a summer or winter let. Google Earth 37º02´49.81" N 8º03´00.01"W

Less than 5 minutes walk from Dunas beach with its restaurants, water sports and kms of beautiful sandy beach, the property is ideal for friends travelling together and especially for families where the kids can meet others round the two communal pools. Child minding facilities at nearby Dunas beach club (2 mins walk).

This gorgeous villa is also great for off season rentals as is fully heated for the chillier days.

Interior designed throughtout the furniture reflects a modern contemporary style. Soft neutral colours are interspersed with discreet art work and colourful cushions. The the house has both covered and open terraces and there is plenty of room and facility for outdoor living. There is a complete outdoor kitchen and covered dining area beside the stunning 16m x 4m pool.

Entrance through electric gates to parking area and space for 3 cars and onward to a lovely garden.
Inside an entrance hall leading to modern kitchen, laundry room adjacent, onward to delightful dining room and down a couple of steps to living room with a traditional moorish ceiling as a unique feature. To the left of the entrance hall are two bedrooms, one double, one twin, both with en suite shower rooms. From the entrance hall the steps lead upwards to a wonderful master bedroom suite with its own terrace and large en suite bathroom. The second bedroom is equally attractive with queen size double bed and full en suite bathroom.
At the lower level there is a huge entertainments room with giant plasma television, ipod console, table football, billiard table and lots of comfy sofas and chairs. From this area outdoors there is a 5 hole putting green, contoured to play like the real thing. Putters and balls are provided. A table tennis table on the lawn completes the fabulous entertainments area.

Everything has been designed with comfort and luxury in mind. The large beautifully equipped kitchen has a breakfast area.

Separate laundry room adjacent to kitchen.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve has the best climate in Europe with more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Even when it rains it is rarely cold and miserable. The region has something to cater for all tastes whether it is lying on the beach, visiting smart night spots, going to concerts, shopping, playing sport or visiting areas of historic interest.

Faro the provincial capital is a fascinating city where you can stroll in pedestrianised streets, sip a coffee or glass of Port or visit the archaeological museum, take a boat trip to one of the outlying islands or eat a fine fish lunch fresh from the market.

Nearby Loule is a pretty market town with a great market every day and especially on Saturday morning - see the locals with their produce come down to sell.

The Vale do Lobo / Dunas Douradas area

Dunas Douradas is adjacent to the famous Vale do Lobo resort and has its own beach area. There are lots of water sports activities here and it is also possible to walk the fabulous 15km stretch of white sandy beach.
Within Dunas itself is a fine restaurant and snack bar and in the summer there are barbecues with entertainment. There are two tennis courts with a resident coach to find you a partner, give a lesson or book a court. 24 hours reception ensures a worry free holiday.

During the summer many events happen in the Algarve and tickets are much cheaper than at home - you also get a better view. Classical concerts are held in Faro and around for those with other tastes. Easter and Carnaval time see many interesting local festivals.

Stunning Seville (Spain) and historic Lisbon are also close these days - just 2 1/2 hours by car on our new motorway.
