Very impressive villa located between Quinta do Lago and Val do Lobo with access to all activities in these world famous resorts. Spoiled for choice with 26 golf couses in immediate area, tennis and of course, all water sports; both on the sea and on the nearby lake. You can also just relax and enjoy the beauty of surrounding area which is located within the Ria Formosa wildlife area.

This is a five star villa with all the facilities you would expect from same. Luxurious furnishings. Magnificent private pool and gardens. Separate garage with table tennis table. Literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from within a five to ten minute drive. Two excellent night clubs at Quinta Shopping and Val do Lobo

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

With nearly 200km of unrivalled coastline, breathtaking beaches and some of the finest gof courses in the worls, the Algarve is a renowned vacation paradise.

The coast offers a full range of water sports, excellent swimming and glorious sands for soaking up the sunshine. Meanwhile, the countryside offers a luxurious world of green rolling hills whose slopes are often given over to the cultivation of orange orchards, fig and almond trees.

Summers in the Algarve are very dry and very long – it is rare to see any rain at all between mid-June and September. There are about 12 hours of sunshine per day and temperatures average 28-30º. The winters are comparable to a mild northern European spring with around 6 hours of sunshine per day and mid-day temperatures averaging about 16-18º.

The Vale do Lobo / Varandas Do Lago area

Varandas do Lago is situated in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve, between the well known resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago in Almancil, Algarve. This area is famous for its sandy beaches and its many golf courses. Varandas is just minutes walk from the miles of unspoilt sandy beaches at Ancão.

The internationally renowned resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Garrão are close neighbours; the fabulous 5 star golf courses of Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo are just one 'shot' away.

The brand new Varandas do Lago luxury development is situated in the Nature Reserve of Ria Formosa on the Algarve. One of the few unpolluted coastal zones that remain in Europe, Ria Formosa has more than 200 species of birds, many of them rare, and they are a constant delight year round.

The largest tennis facility in Portugal is only a 5 minute drive away. With 10 all-weather courts, four synthetic courts, further courts planned and a communal swimming pool, the Tennis Academy attracts several national and international tennis fixtures throughout the year.

There are reastaurants in the area to cater to every palate and budget from Michelin starred to 'fast food'. The Vilamoura Marina and Casino are a ten minute drive. There is also a very large water park within a ten minute drive of the villa.

First the house is magnificent. Really and the pool just the right length to swim a lot (sorry I make a lot of faelures). The environnement was nice

Hope your well. I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know we had a wonderful stay at your house, it was a home away from home and I only wish we could have stayed longer.
We got to know the area better this year and had some great days out, fab lunches and some wonderful meals out and indeed at the house, needless to say everybody wants to return again in 2011 !
