The apartment is located on the ground floor and it's front entrance leads directly onto a grassy lawn with palm trees that is perfect for children to play safely. The balcony has the enviable position of being completely secluded - no prying eyes when you are relaxing and having a sleep in the sun shine, but at the same time has a direct view towards the gardens and pool area - thus making it perfect for privacy for discerning guests.
Recently renovated and refurnished with modern soft furnishings and rustic olive-wood furniture. New kitchen, upgraded bathroom and shower room. Lots of extras including: 42' plasma TV with freeview UK satellite, wireless internet access, second TV in twin bedroom, DVD player and DVDs, Playstation 2, MP3 dock system, radio, CD player and lots of CDs, books, magazines and games.
Apartment is suitable for up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children. High chair, baby cot and foldaway bed available at no extra cost. Twin bedroom can be made up into additional master bedroom. Extra child accommodated in foldaway bed or cot.
Suitable for the mobility impaired (only 1 step at front of apartment). The apartment is suitable for small children. The apartment is on the ground floor. The balcony is raised off the ground.

Jardins do Golfe boasts a very large private pool. There is a large sun terrace that has been recently upgraded with decking and free sunloungers and an additional children's pool with waterfall. There are also other areas in the gardens where sun loungers are scattered about. There is a poolside snack bar during summer, also facilities of tennis and mini golf and basketball court.
It is a 2 minute walk to the local mini market and Medical Centre. Parque Do Golfe which is the Reception for the Royal and Ocean golf courses is a 5 minute stroll from the apartment there are also many shops including beauty centre, a most wonderful health spa (can vouch from experience), hairdresser, cash point, Hertz, post office & newsagent selling daily English newspapers and magazines also a cafe and another bar overlooking the 1st holes of the Ocean and Royal Courses.

Apartment 8 is lovely sunny, spacious apartment in the development of Jardins do Golfe.
The kitchen has all new appliances including washing machine, full size oven, ceramic hob, and granite benchtops.
The bedrooms and lounge/dining room are now newly redecorated and refurnished. All rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. The twin bedroom has an additional TV and DVD player - so you can tuck the children up in bed and have the entertainment system in the loungeroom all to yourself :-)
The balcony area has a new teak outdoor table and chairs and sunloungers and wicker chairs all perfect for chilling out on a hot sunny day !

Jardins do Golfe is nestled beside the 2nd hole of the Royal Course a short distance from the Main Entrance of Vale do Lobo. The Jardins do Golfe is a private complex and is set in a hectare of beautiful, mature and well tended gardens.
We have tried to think of everything that you would need or want for a luxury holiday. There are many extras we have included in the apartment, DVD, satelite TV, CD stereo & CDs, DVD movies, Playstation PS2 & games even books and magazines. There is a new kitchen with washing machine and oven. All new furnishings from comfy sofas, squishy cushions to cuddly throws to snuggle under at night while relaxing. As an added extra all the bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided for you while on holiday.
We also regularly restock the little things like tea, coffee, toilet paper and general food items. You will find shampoo and hair care products, bath and toilet soap, sun screens, baby nappies, after sun lotion, first aid kit and even washing powder - all these things help make you holiday so much easier not to have to worry about the little things.
We have also included some toys/games, pencils/paper so your children always have some thing to keep them occupied. We have provided about 15 movies to watch and 50 CDs for your enjoyment. But you can bring your IPod or more DVDs which can plug into the stereo and you can relax listen to music and make the apartment just like your own home.

Attractions include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours & Cultural visits. There is also an Aqua Park and a Swim With Dolphin experience (30 mins drive). In the apartment is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices.
It costs approx 30 euros from the airport to Jardins Do Golfe in a taxi. Or we can arrange a private airport transfer.

Changeover days are flexible all year round. It is necessary to vacant the apartment by 10.00am on the day of departure in the high season. Access to the property is usually after 3.30pm. We can make arrangements to store your bags.
Conditions
For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non refundable. All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €200 (€300 during high season) is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.

Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

The Algarve / Central Algarve region


The Algarve is located in southern county of Portugal and is geographically the most South Westerly tip of Europe. It boasts over 100 sunny beaches from the Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa Reserve which runs along the Eastern coast to the virtually uninhabited windswept beaches of the Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina on the Western coast. The Algarve is bordered by Spain and it is only a short drive to the cultural and ancient city of Seville in Spain and Portugal's capital, Lisbon.
The Algarve is a relatively small area and has well maintained and easily accessible road system which makes touring and sightseeing very attractive and there are many fine places to visit, such as the 12th century Moorish Castle at Silves, the fortress and training school of Prince Henry the Navigator, and the lighthouse at Cape St Vincent which in olden times, before the discovery of the Americas, was thought of as the end of the world. There are also many cathedrals, churches, museums and stately houses of architectural interest.
In the 17th and 18th century Portugal was a leader in the discoveries of the New World, the Africas and Eastern trade. In recent years this little country has joined the European Union, has a very stable government and enjoys the comforts of modern Europe.
The Algarve is a very popular destination, the consistent good weather and top class golf courses being the main attractions. The region, from the Spanish border town of Villa Real de São Antonio to Cape St Vincent, is about a hundred miles and the depth of the county is less than five miles. The west has a backdrop of the Monchique Mountains with spectacular scenery, spa towns, monasteries, lush vegetation and protects the Algarve from rain. Hence the glorious climate all year round.
Food and wine are institutions here, as is spotless accommodation, courtesy to visitors, genuine friendliness and a pride in service. Most people are conversant in English. There is also an overwhelming respect for the law, which makes the Algarve a particularly safe and relaxing vacation destination.
The old and the new is very apparent here with modern hotels and resorts lying side by side with old farms where you can admire the fig, almond, olive and orange groves. Seafood is abundant and varied and there are many unusual dishes to try. Another aspect of the Algarve are the wide variety of beaches, all graced with thick grained golden sand and all very clean with nice beach restaurants.
The Eastern Algarve – the Sotaventa (leeward) coast, is the lesser known half of the region the pace of life is slower and has with a very different topography and character to the central and western Algarve the beaches are typically long, wide and flat. The west is typically with its coves and rock formations or longer beaches with a background of red cliffs and pine trees
Over the past 30 years, the Algarve has emerged as Europe's top golf destination, the 5-star golf resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura being famous throughout the golfing world.
The Vale do Lobo / Jardins do Golfe area
Faro town is a 15 minute drive there is a large shopping centre that offers good facilities. Most tours offer a pickup/drop off bus service from VdL to the attractions. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours & Cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin..... There is also an Aqua Park 10 mins drive on the other side of Quateria) and a Swim With Dolphin experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the Motorway).
In the apartment is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria (5 min drive) has a very impressive farmers market that is well worth visiting (oh and testing out the produce !!). Both of these attractions you can walk to usually in about an hour if you are feeling energetic......otherwise I have a folder with telephone numbers of local taxi services if you do not wish to drive.

BA, Easyjet and Monarch all run a good schedule of flights to Faro. I recommend a website www.skyscanner.net to see the best price for your flights, it is a very easy and compact site that loads up all airlines departing from your airport of choice with the times and most importantly the COST !!
We can provide information about reputable car hire companies.
I can also arrange a meet and greet service or private car airport drop off from Faro airport for a small locally paid cost.
A fun web site to use is www.wunderground.com it is a 'weather site' that has historical weather data for Faro and also a 'trip planner' option that gives you a really good idea of what type of weather to expect when you are on holiday.

We loved your apartment and found it to be the most comfortable we have ever been at Jardin and this was our 6th if not 7th visit! We found Joe to be most helpful and very prompt to attend to any requests.
