Portugal's Algarve enjoys the best climate in Europe with some 300 days of sunshine a year. There is something here for every interest and superb sporting and recreational facilities as well. For those interested in culture Faro, Loule and most of the towns and cities of the region boast many historic sites, places of interest and lots going on with festivals and public entertainment. The cities of Lisbon and Seville in Spain are just two hours away by car and the excellent motorway networks can take you even further afied in half a day to some of Iberia's most famous places.
